There is no rule to say sachin should be playing all the matched... hope u know there are 15 in the team.
Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar returned early from India's tour of Sri Lanka as he was not a part of the Twenty20 squad, team manager Prakash Dixit said here today. Tendulkar who was rested for the last two ODIs of the series against Sri Lanka has played only one T20 game against South Africa in 2006 in his entire career.

they r switched over to test player. there is no place for dravid in the one-day or t-20 matches. It seems to be good for indian team.

win the toss and half job done.enjoy lunch and tea breaks .just play with four or five countries and win once in a while and they are demigods in our country.what a lovely game cricket is .fit for us
The team selected for the final shows that the paln was to give on a platter the match to the SL team. Take the Bowlers Ishant is the only bowler in the team.He takes wickets and bowls well .But he will definatley gift one or two balls in an over . Balaji is returning to this level after a long time. Irfan has not been able to come back to the best we all knew in the past .(This puts a doubt in all the Bowling coaches and great players of the past in their ability to develop). Ojha , who is a second choice to Harbhajan and may not find a place when he returns has been rested , can there be a better joke than this .Here is an opportunity to invest in future ,but we have wrong concepts. Shewag is great when he gets going - but when we need a huge target , ther is so much uncertainity - he may win the match or put the whole team in the Backfoot. If we want to be the number one team - the strategy is stupid. The number one team always goes in for the killing . It is not late let us learn from this . New Zealand is entirely a different ball game . Lot of great players failed there .The ball swing and NZ have home advantage . It will be interesting to see how some of the great names will be faring. The way alot of players scored in the domestic cricket does not say much about the players as they have batted on feather beds . For the last 40 years or more after India under Contracter was where in he was injured badly and India has been shown dust.Nothing changed.
The tone and tenor of many posts here indicate a burning desire of the bloggers to see that India wins all their matches.
Credit goes to Dhoni for eliciting such feelings, after a huge gap of time. Firt it was Kapil Dev (acknowledged openly by none other than Gavaskar himself) and now it is Dhoni.
Well, one may talk about the victories achieved under Azzu, Ajay Jadeja, Tendulkar, Ganguly, Dravid - but these guys were unable to score clean sweeps even against Bangladesh. I wonder if many are aware how many matches Indian team used to lose against Zimbabwe too in those days.
Secondly, I feel that there is too much animated and anguished discussion here. Can we say that Srilanka is a good for nothing team and hence India should have won all matches?
Can we introspect a little and find out for ourselves how many of us scored 100 out of 100 marks in all subjects in all exams and tests right through our school and college days?
Let us appreciate the Team India, its coach, captain and the selectors for trying to put up a combination from time to time, which wins most of the matches consistently and not be sky high in our expectation that they should anything and everything.
rohit plays well in the movie victory !! he could be used as dravid replacement in test ,let us fine tune r.jadeja or bring back legendary kaif in place of rohit...

Sorry dear, Kaif's days are over. I would like to see Virat Kohli being given more chances in place of Rohit Sharma. To me Kohli looks to be a more consistent and reliable player and also a player with a compact technique and desire to keep performing.
I have nothing but hearty congratulations to the Team India for winning against a full strength Srilanka team in Srilanka 4-0, a feat never achieved before and may never be achieved again easily.
Sehwag plays the way he did, Gambhir and Suresh Raina were done in by excellent strategy by Jayawardene, one of the shrewdest captains today, Yuvi and Dhoni were unlucky not to continue in the same vein for some more overs, sorry Pathans, kudos to Jadeja.
One word of advice to Rohit Sharma - please note that the tour selection committee (is there one like that) or coach / captain deliberately dropped someone else to accommodate you. You should grab the opportunities and establish yourself. There was no point in your trying to go for a big hit in the 15th over, since you could have played a calculated game for long (with full 35 overs remaining at the time of your departure) and may be scored a big hundred to seal your place in the side. Better luck next time around. Do not become another Uthappa please.

India won 1 and lost 1 match with reserve players. Irfan was good comparison to previous match. Balaji selection was surprised decision, he couldn't utilized the opportunity. Munaf will get back in place of Balaji against NZ. R.Jadeja looks good with bat. R.Sharma lost another good opportunity. We can see new batsman in place of him in NZ tour.
