Chennai Super Kings looks all set for winning 2009 IPL
by Arun Sambandan on Feb 09, 2009 04:21 PM  | Hide replies

With freddie in the bag, I think Chennai Super Kings is all set to Win this edition of IPL. Without Mathew Hayden, Mike Hussey, Jacob Oram and Albie Morkel after the first two weeks, Chennai have done well to enter finals last time. This time I am sure other teams dread the sight of Chennai Super Kings led by Dhoni and the line up of Hayden and Hussey. I love to see how Hayden and Hussey cart other bowlers across the park

kp n flintoff in ipl
by vinay on Feb 08, 2009 01:17 AM  | Hide replies

kp n flintoff got unfair high amt in ipl. they r not worth it. ind demolished those eng players recently. ind r at the top still, these 2 eng players n bangla players like mortaza getting higher deals.
it seems ind is obsessed with white colour of the players. what else can v say then? ind players r more talented n proved themselves but getting lesser amt than kp n flintoff is ridiculous. what they hv done in the last year to earn so high amt.

well.. not really the case here. And you contradicted your self as Murtza ia not white.

The point is KP and Fred are the two most populars in UK and the two frnchises carrying them have huge potential to capture english market if marketed properly..

i don't think mumbai have a good batting line-up. Mumbai's batting is too dependant on jayasuriya. Sachin is just not effective in t-20. I personally think delhi and chennai are the best teams as of now.

I think Chennai team is extremely strong. With no key players playing with them in the second half of IPL in the 1st edition, they still almost won the final. But this season is going to be even better for chennai.
Hayden
Vidyut
Hussey
Raina
Dhoni
Flintoff
Albie or Oram
Badrinath
Balaji
Gony
Muralidharan or Palani

Don't relate crickt with politics. Try to think openly not like a selfish. If u want 2 remark, think why teams r paying millions dollars to english palyer. Thy r putting crkt first and not thinking what enlish has done in past IN INDIA.
