Brian Jerling has always been a very poor umpire so that's nothing new.Umpire G.Silva is just following in the footsteps of his compatriot Asoka DeSilva who alongwith Steve Bucknor are the worst umpires in the world at least where India is concerned
I think the situation in the third match could have been little different if Sachin were little more agressive. After hitting a huge six in the FREE HIT ball he became OVER-defensive and allowed the bowler to build back a pressure.A little risk taking at that stage could have made things different. Anyway, time and again he has proved critics wrong by bouncing back.Really tough to write him off !
It is just his badluck and nothing else....He is a great player.Technologies shld be improved instead of spoiling areer of such a great plyer or i can say the god of Cricket.
I want to see him in 2011 World Cup nd winning Man of the Tournament trophy too.

It is not for the first time that Sanchin is subjected to such poor umpiring decisions. Generall, I have an impression, in case of big names, Umpires tend to judge in favour of batsman. But, in Tendularkar's case it is quite opposite.
BCCI should not protest but point the poor quality of umpiring to ICC. The ICC idiots while setting standards for every behavior of players and minting money through this game have to be held responsible for poor umpiring. They should have these umpires sent for some training with umpires like Venkatraghavan.

Sachin is a class act and will come back roaring...the Lankan's must have thought giving Sachin an early exit through such a stupid umpire will demoralize Indian team. Good luck to them...we are not the old Indian team. We now have many stars and thats what Yuvi, Raina, Dhoni, Shewag, Gambhir showed to them. Each time they won the battle with a player the other stood up. For all the years of shame visiting Indian teams have faced in Sri Lanka (the 900 run an innings shame and not winning a series), this team paid back the Lankans in their own way. Win toss, Bat first, Score high, Choke the 2nd playing team with spinners under flood lights. Wow what a treat to watch the Lanks getting hammered.

BCCI should not appeal for any decisions made on the field in this particular instance. What it should do is question the competency of these umpires. I am sure there is a board which does this. Tendulkar, Vuvi, Dhoni or any other person does not matter. Appeal is done on what the problem was and not against whom it was.
