Not a Penny for Porkis. Porkis should be banned from ICL and IPL. If Kapil is really a patriot and not after money, then he should not allow porkis into ICL.
I guess it is a well conceived move by PCB....as it is their national team is getting raped by all and sundry....at least the players (eg. Md. Yousuf, even today would walk into any side) playing in the ICL are of a better pedigree than the buffoons playing for the Pakistan national team at present.

Sohail Tanvir, is an excellent bowler and would beat any bowler hands down in the current India bowling line up, Umer Gul recently decemanted oponents in the Aussie league, Shaoib Akhtar if not injury prone is class by himself, rao Iftikhar is a decent medium pacer, Pakistan also has Yasser Arafat who is a more than decent bowler along with being a handy bat, I can name others who can hardly be called Buffons? I think your anlysis is flawed at best, batting too, baring the fact NO TEAM can replace the class of M. Yusuf I agree, all other except for a decent opener for Salman Butt, Pakistan is doing quite well, lack of international cricket has made them rusty but they are certainly NOT buffons by any standard. Lets see India come to pakistan and take them on. The only 2 three crickets pakistan misses is as follows:
ABDUL RAZAQ-STILL YOUNG AND EXPLOSIVE and would have knocked Afridi off the Pakistan team for sure.
Muhammad Sami-Second only to Akhtar in pace and would have beat Rao Itfikhar hands down in the pakistan line up.
Taufiq Umar-was a budding opener with Salman butt and pakistan misses him for sure.
An honoralble mention needs to be made of Imran Farhat who was being broomed as a replica of Amir Sohail and the IPL destroyed that, neverthless he is someone Pakistan can find alternates too.

I think the biggest problem here is that PAK COMPARES ITSELF WITH INDIA ??? But the biggest tragedy is that we always compare ourselves with them .... Who are they & what are they. In terms of money, freedom, infrastructure, size, population, defence,GDP,social outlook, freedom to women, we are one of the best. Infact forget them & weed them of our system.. I know we have a rogue neighbour & just like ISRAEL we will have to continuosly be on guard.. but just think .. does America compare itself with CUBA, or does ISRAEL compare itself with palestine... We need to move on people.. LET PAKISTAN keep on comparing with us.. I mean its always good to measure up to a better country. But we as Indians should look at the US,CHINA,EU because all of them are looking at us now...

Yagoot Mir, All I can say is your assessment of our Indian bolwers is noting but bull shit. All I can say is you dont watch Indain matches & you dont have the fainstes idea how our bolwers are performing. No doubt, Sohail Tanvir is a decent enough bowler, but no way near to any of our best bowler.

Well! This is reply to Mir and Bhardawaj Ji also. Your assessment of the two teams are the reflection of true facts. India is performing superbly and that too consistently. However, we can not underminde the talent of both the teams. Pakistan is not playing as a cohesive unit , which India has shown time and again. India has great captain and leader at the helm, wheras pakistan lack vision in appointing the best captain. Pakistan has lost class players to ICL ,India has lost none. Pakistan is not playing any cricket, wheras there is no time for Indians to rest from International Commitment. However, one thing is sure that both the teams have young players whose future is at stake , if they perform.

i think both these teams are still far behind the other teanms in context of fielding. They need some good fielding coaches, like Mr.Khala who used to coach Victoria in early fifties.

You are right Mr A.R.Khalla was undoubtedly the best fielding coach, under whose guidance class players got coaching. Pakistan needs fielding coaches like khala.........
suspension on ban on ICL players is welcome.well m a hard liner critic of pak.But when it comes about ICL i feel emotional bou kapil dev n co.career of 100s youngsters from india who r playing in ICL is in danger.they should be allowed to play for india.
They'll do everything to have money. Their players in IPL and ICL will play and earn millions in India which they'll transfer or donate to some madarsas or anti-Indian organizations such as Lashkar / ISI etc to launch attacks in India.
In simple words Indians hiring Pakistanis to kill Indians. Dont let these Porkis enter our country.
Re: Pak wants money
by Yaqoot Mir on Feb 02, 2009 11:52 PM
So you are saying the India players dont play for money? chee how naive or may be you are just downright dumb?. They are professional cricketers? you want them to play in the ICL and IPL for free? India players regularly climb over each other to gather up ads on TV and media, MUCH MORE than the pak players do. Also last I checked elements in YOUR ARMY collabrated with a terrprist outfit including a relgiious swami to plant explosives in the Samjhauta express that killed more than 75 people EVERYONE acknowledged that...you merely have circumstancial evidence of pakistan being involved in Mumbai so relax, fix your home grown terror sells then blame Pakistan. Now enjoy yourself and make a few more frustrated statements venting your anger from your drawing room.

I thought that this was a discussion board on cricket. Anyway,if you are talking about terrorism, then it must be reminded that your army is serially conducting terrorist activities in India for the last 30-40 years. At present Pakistan can be called the global sponsorer of terrorism. Instead of pointing at an isolated incident allegedly linked to some religious outfit and the Indian Army you should better look at yourselves. Billions of money given by the US exchequer to your Government has been utilised for raising terrorists to attack our innocent citizens. Shame on you.

Mir hold on hold on. Do not talk abt Pakistan. The soldier who fight for your country(kargil war), you guy disown dead bodies of the soldiers- its a sham*e. It is still not proved whether the swamy was involved or not.Still they have done in indian territory not in any foreign nation like kasab and his associates. We know how to lookafter our matter, plz see your own nation matter. You guys are beg*gar, alway waiting for some American or European county will give something , which will run your government and your country. What Pakistan has achieved in last 50yrs only terrorism. Still Pakistan does not know who is the ruller-it is ISI(bast*ards killing innocent all call themselves real muslims), Army,or the PM or President. If you look at Zardari or Gillani they look so unfaithfull-as is one more lie they are going to tell-real shameless. Come on Mir, if you want to grow, have to join hand with India and not fighting with us. Your comedian and cricketer came and earned good money not that also has stopped.
all want to earn money. It hardly matters with whom they are play for, whether it is ICL or IPL. if they are bringing foreign currency for their nation, why would they would keep the ban to continue. Now a days cricket is no more a gentleman game, it has become a money game and every player of this world just want to earn as much as he can during his unpredicted carrer. If you provide some extra bucks they can even play against their own national team.

Also surprised is spelled as 'surrprised'... Spelling mistake. Which place does the dumbo come from ?
Why should not MRTP be imposed on BCCI? It is profit making organisation and have monopoly on organising Indian Cricket. I think Monopolistic and Restrictive Trade Practice of MRTP act 1969 should be imposed on them.
Re: MRTP should be imposed on BCCI
by Krishnappa on Feb 02, 2009 04:58 PM
I agree with you.
BCCI has become arrogant and wants to dominate. Why doesn't BCCI discuss with ICL and settle the matter amicably as a no of players in ICL do deserve a better treatment from BCCI and other Boards vis-a-vis consider ICL players to play in 20s, ODI and Test matches?
Re: MRTP should be imposed on BCCI
by Anand S on Feb 02, 2009 06:09 PM
An interesting point brought up. By having the ICL recognized by BCCI, they can also achieve attracting more players and revenue by having parallel events run - which can be used for sports development across the country.
i think BCCI should learn from PCB and suspend ban on players participating in ICL. it is not right to ban players from participating in any league, domestic or foreign as long as they are not avoiding playing for the national side when needed!!!!!!!!!!
