I always knew Amit as one who has a really deep knowledge of the game and is a real student, watcher, lover of cricket. No one else that i have seen is so passionate about the game. But the amazing fluency with which he has written this strikes me. Very valid points that he has put forth and he has put in the facts in a very straightforward manner. Once I have read the column , I just can not imagine the huge passion, love, dedication towards a game like cricket by a column editor. I have become a huge fan of column editor & will not miss any of the columns which will be posted henceforth on rediff site. I rate this column as one of the best columns have ever read. Its professional column like the columns of veterans of cricket. Its too early to comment but find a great potential of Mr. Amit to become the imminent column writer of cricket columns shortly.
