Pakistani Board, (PCB) never respected their player. Same is true with the Government. They never gave any importance to cricket or any other sports and entertainment like Film etc. So there is no entertainment in Pakistan, other than cricket not a single game is given importance. Cricketers are also not respected they are called fraud, drug ushers, match fixers etc. They give importance one thing to grow military power let the poor people in their country die of hunger but they want eliminate India. Unless and untill this stupid attitude do not stop they will never come up nor their country
Mr.Yusuf, I don't mean to offend you BUT I see a coincidence between your beard and the state of cricket in Pakistan - what a SAD state of affairs. When you talk about how T20 will 'finish' off cricket in Pakistan, the argument defies logic and common sense. It is your own countrymen responsible for this situation.
You wanted to play for ICL and then IPL. Aren't those T20 leagues ??? don't be ridiculous mister. As long as your country harbors terrorists, you will continue to be cricketing nomads. My advice to you and your team would be to concentrate ONLY on T20 so that India and the rest of the world may kick your b*tt during the world cup in 2011.

respect a cricketer of his calibre man come on jay,kvagish, let he be a pakistani but he is a quality player what he said is true one day , five day format is declining due to twenty twenty formats
Guy who himself let his country for ICL. Then toggled between IPL and ICL for some time. And look all of sudden T20 is trouble for him. What he is speaking may be correct but he himself never looked beyond personnel convenience.
When Porki as a nation itself will be finished by themself very soon, why yusup talking about finishing of cricket. Let it be end of porki before end of 2010.

Cricket in Pakistan is already finished with no foreign team visiting their, now Pakistanis can only play in other countries. The contrast in the fortunes of the two neighbours India and Pakistan doesn't just reflect in economic growth but also in the cricket. Just as the Indian economy has gone from strength to strength in last decade similarly Indian cricket has moved in the right direction and ending the first decade of this century as No.1 in tests. While incase of Pakistan it has been just reverse of India. Their country, economy and cricket is in dumps with only an exception of T20 world cup win nothing worth while to take the note. Though here the comments of Mohammad Yousuf could be called the case of sour grapes as he could neither participate in ICL nor in IPL so lost opportunity to make money. But the rate at which Indian batsmen are scoring run in test matches clearly indicates T20 has made positive impact on India as high run rate gives enough time for bowlers to wrap up the match.

well Said. Test stadiums in UK SA and Australia remain empty 20-20 has brought back audeince to game without which it was loosing out to other sports
