If Australian cricket board is planning some thing at their domestic level then why should it make news in India? Why should it bother us? But the matter of the fact is since the IPL was rolled out both English and Aussie cricket boards are making all out effort to discourage their players from participating in IPL which they have been unsuccessful till now. This news is being spread to create pressure on IPL board members for not to ban Australian players from IPL as was reported few days back.

I also think it could be more due to their jealousy of IPL more than anything else that has driven them to start a useless league of their own.

i think its not the greed, but its better for the cricket, which has very few countries to play, therefore in order to popularize the best option of the cricket to the world it has to be more innovative otherwise its a sports which will be called as a game played in indian subcontinent only
