Re: Sachin should be dropped for ever

Not that Sachin hides behind Sehwag, but breaking up the very successful opening partnership of Sehwag and Gambhir do not seem correct. These 2 are opening successfully in Tests, T20s and in IPL, so why not in ODIs. A batsman like Sachin will be useful in the middle order where batsman like Raina and Jadeja tend to crumble under pressure.
Without Nel and Gibbs no aggression looks in SA team. They are playing so bad from CT.
Congrats Eng for great performance. They lifted up after losing so badly against India. They won Ashes, made semi in CT, won ODI series against SA and now going to beat SA by inning in their own home.

dont be fooled by the SA performance it is just a bad match for them. They are a class team and will be back in the next test.
Its good the england has now become a strong team.
SA, Eng, Ind and Aus are the top teams with the number one position likely to change hands frequently over the next couple of years.

But this year SA won only 1 test and lost 4 including current test. In ODI SA won 11 and lost 7.

INDIA HAVE TO MAINTAIN ITS NO. 1 POSITION TILL 31ST MARCH 2010 TO RECEIVE AWARD FOR THE YEAR'S BEST TEST TEAM.
It is pleasing to watch Bell when he is in full flow though he has played a defensive innings most of the time which is understandable .One thing is clear other countries have no stars ,they have to contribute or they are out unlike India ,we bank on stars to bring the crowds whether they perform or not
