I'm getting doubt how delhi will host common wealth game. BCCI is having so much money and can't prepare a pitch to host one ODI. Think of the arrangement for the commonwealth game.

oh yes delhi can host personal wealth game instead of common wealth game as all the politicians, beurocrats have made lots of cash in bribe
BAD PITCH = ZAHEER SUPERB BOWLING(15 PERS) BAJJI BALL (10 PERS) INDIAN SUPERB FIELDING (5 PERS) SRILANKAN BAD BATTING(40 PERS) TYAGI NEW COMER BOWLING(20) BAD WEATHER (4 PERS) ACTUAL BAD PITCH (1 PERS)
The pitch fiasco is true to form. Very representative of what Delhi is.
Mediocrity rules in Delhi. You will never find a modicum of civic sense even among nicely suited & booted citizens there. They jump red signals and break queues merrily. Sound matters here, not substance. Contact matters, not performance. People here worship power, but hate accountability.
What can you expect from a society that worships only show and power and not knowledge?
Don't be surprised to see a lousy opening ceremony during Commonwealth Games next year...
It is a shame on the part of the DDCA to have prepared such a damn shabby pitch because of which the last one-dayer had to be abondoned. As it is the ICC says that the BCCI dictates its terms on the world cricket fraternity.
Once a pitch is prepared, there is no one to check whether the preparation has been done properly and the pitch is fit enough for aninternational game. Why international game ? Even for the local matches also, the pitch should be a proper once as many of our local cricketers would also have to suffer injuries.
If there was one Indore incident in the past, it was all the more important that there should have been no repetition. Every one in the system has goofed.

ICC should have elite panel of curators like umpires who would look after all the pitches.Had such athing happened in first class match no player or captain could have dared talked about it.

Post the Indore fiasco the MP Cricket association abandoned use of the old stadium (owned by the Municipal Corporation & used for every other activity other than sports). The MPCA then went on to build a new International standard stadium exclusive for use of cricket. The people (read politicians) managing the various sports authorities in India should are the one to be blamed for all such shameful events.
It is unfair to say that we are also number one in making worst pitches. Because the curator of kotla ground wants to see some more runs from both the sides becuase of low bounce track which was stamped by the one and all.To see some bounce and make batting easy that's why curator decided to change the nature of the track. This fact was happened there only.

NO DEMISH ON PITCH..BATSMAN WERE CULPRIT,, THEY HAVE NO TECHNIQE TO PLAY GOOD LENGTH RISING BALL,,GIVE THEM A KNEE HGT BALL TO HIT BOUNDRY THEN ONLY THEY WILL SAY PITCH IS GOOD
all blames should be given on batsman they have no techniqes to play good rising ball fromshort of good lenth spot,, pitch is good only when they murder the bowler and make useless 100, on that that type of pitch bowler never cried then y batsman,,yeseryear batman has played on that type of pitch

Who says we are No1 in ODI'S it's the Aussies who are No 1 in ODI's. However as far as laying of pitches are concerned we certainly aspire to be No 1.
