WHAT EVER THE GUARD DID WAS HIS JOB, THERES NOTHING FOR GAVASKAR TO FEEL ABOUT AND INFACT HE DIDNT. MAMTA SHOULD LET THE GUARD DO HIS JOB AND CONCENTRATE ON HER WORK.

Exactly...what a rubbish statement "It is sad that the security procedure was followed even for a legendary cricketer like Gavaskar." ...so what? damn it!! so what if the security procedure was followed..Law is the same for all..atleast as we know on paper and sometimes demonstrated...hope no overzealous politician makes this a issue and transfers the security guy who did what he was supposed to do...and "When contacted, Nimbus did not comment over the incident"...what comment is expected? why should NImbus even bother to answer...

Gavaskar should not take any offense at being frisked- the security personnel were just doing their duty, as they should. No one should be exempt from security procedures, not even the rich and famous.
I salute that Security Men. Nothing wrong in this. They should be appreciated. Even Great Sunil would have appreciated. Now I am proud to be Indian. Principle Men still exist in this country. Shame on Mamnta, Shame, Shame.

I wish Mamata had said that she is proud of the security. The problem with these politicians is that they consider themselves above law. hat was so great in frisking when everyone else is frisked?
It is duty of security to each & every one's bag. I think this is not wrong what security personnel did with Mr Gavaskar. If any untoward incidence happens every body blames security but in our nobody wants to cooperate with them.

There is nothing unusual about the security man, who has done his job. There are documented ways for gavaskar or for that matter anybody to have a visit. They can have prearranged passes or something like that. Now, think what mamta and party would do if they are retained at helm...all security cordons would be violated...Comments from Mamta really cause concern....
Sachin play till2011 world cup because 1) To erase zero innings that scored in last world cup and then to take care it should not happen to retire aftr scoring some decent score in 2011 world cup 2) To acheive record of no of max appearances by a cricketer in world cup.

km vb... you dont seem to have done much homework..
1) Sachin has made highest number of runs in two world cups (96 and 2003). His record in 2003 is still intact despite Hayden's heroics in 2007. Hence, he will play far more decent knock than u imagine
2) Record for max WC appearances is with Javed Miandad. SRT would just be equalling it in 2011

chottu will be there for next three world cups..to break all the records...in the process, young talents like manoj tiwari and chetewar pujar will end up their career playing domestic cricket..the genuine opener gautam gambhir will struggle for the entire career playing down the order..guinness chottu ki jai.
