All players dont play for money only
by sunil koul on Dec 22, 2009 12:28 PM

Modi has made indian players like puppets who can run away were they saw a large piece of meat(money). But australian players prefer their country first then IPL. Modi need to understand that you can make good players only when they play domestic tournments.

It is quite natural for Cricket Australia to give preference to domestic cricket over IPL. After all, national cricketers for future can only be found from domestic cricket. It is like saying that IPL should get preference over Ranji Trophy.

I want Lalit Modi to face all harsh treatmen t in future. This is the person sho is ruining feeling of nationalism among Indian players. Because of this person most of new players keeping national interest at bay and prefering to perform well in IPL just to make huge money. Sack this person to save our Nation. For him nation has no value it comes 2nd, 3rd, 4th and so on..

Money rules... he is a man who is giving and building more funds to BCCI and more fund is comming into India... When you prove your self in national level then only you will be given chance in IPL, if they are down one year in IPL or national level next year they will be not see in national squad and not their in IPL next year or later... so who ever plays good cricket will move on.. with our with out money...

Money rules in all sports across the world. Lionel Messi got FIFA player of the year award. He got award coz of outstanding performance in Club matches. He disappointed fans whenever he played for Argentina.. End of the day, its money involved which makes a sport popular and money comes through club matches.

there are plenty of players quality players available in all the cricket playing countries. then why Modi want to force some players to skip local tournaments. As it is matches are thorown by many teams when they play India. Since India is a money spinnig as far as cricket is concerened Modi it exploting the situation. Definley the cricket loving public should use their brains and tell Mody that he cannot force upon anything. Ultimately we are going play sports in a true spirit and we are not going to wage a war. There are lots os cricketers available in India itself for IPL. All public should join a teach a lesson to Mody.
