Replacing of Youraj is not justified.

Changing Yuvraj from Captaincy
by Suram Verma on Dec 21, 2009 11:56 AM

It is a well thought decision to change Yuv Raj from kings'X1 captancy. He is not a consistent player at all. Only a hardworking, thoughtful, dedicated player as a cpatain can take his team to wins. These all qualities are lacking in Yuvraj. He should not have given this responsibility at the bigining itself. Private games are not BCCI selections those are influenced by many ifs and buts and pressures but for private only good performance that also not of an individual but for whole team.
Best of luch for kingsX1 without the undeserving leader.

Bold decision
by AKS on Dec 21, 2009 08:40 AM  | Hide replies

I think it is better to change IPL from Indian Premier League to International Premier League. Also get out of India (They have already done it in last season). Are (BCCI) you thinking we Indians are fools to watch IPL without Indians.

Initially they pulled the crowd by naming Indian (especially selecting captain from related region) captain. Now they are giving it to other country planner making it more a business affair. After few days we will find only other country players in all the teams. Using our country name and money they feed other country players. We need to unit together incase they name outside players as captain and they bring more outside players. Don't let them play in India and also stop streaming live match in India.

So which do you prefer, losing having an Indian player as captain or winning with a foreign player as captain?

Also how will a business improve if a foreigner is made captain? As you have mentioned not watch them play in India if they have foreign player as captain, then that will spoil the business instead of making it better.

Shame on the Kings X1 owners for replacing Yuvi
by Sameer Bhagwat on Dec 21, 2009 01:43 AM  | Hide replies

He is the biggest box office draw in 20-20 besides Sehwag. How much captaincy does a 20-20 game need? Yuvi can lead by example with his batting. Afterall, he is the one who hit 6 6's in an over and made 20-20 ever more popular.

Only Indian as Captain
by Nikhil on Dec 20, 2009 11:02 PM  | Hide replies

It is High Time that an indian be made a Captain. IPL is the Indian premier League.
It has to play in India with Indian Captains
with only 4 foreign Players ( not more).
Let Foreign Coaches not decide about it.
It is purely a Indian talent hunt with exposure to international players.
