Allan border was the one who built the team .it was ust carried forward by taylor ,waugh and ponting although ponting appears foolish at times

Sulieman Benn gutsy like bhajji
by chakde on Dec 20, 2009 11:12 AM  | Hide replies

I really praise sulieman benn who showed the same guts in front of these white skins same as our bhajji n sreesanth.but unfortunately the loop hole is among the icc rules to get the maximum ban on the black n brown skin people.

I fully agree. Wonder how Johnson can get away with a fine despite physically pushing Benn, while Benn is banned for two matches. As Chakde rightly said, there appears to be a loophole somewhere in the system, which the white skins exploit and the white skinned match referees are a party to this.

Fully agree with u. Wonder why such things donot happen when Australia plays Eng, NZ or SA - The ICC should take a closer look at these things. Last time after India won at PERTH, the umpiring in the next match at SYDNEY was stunningly different by the same set of umpires. Appears a certain bias against WI, Ind,Pak,SL. ICC think it over.

Dhoni has to sleep for the next two matches for sleeping in the last one hour in 2nd ODI. Shame on him to be wasting so much time on tactics. Aussies with so many injuries & inexperience are winning their matches whereas India can't even with their full team. Ind may have lost/drawn to SL if Decision review system was in place for the test series. So don't assume India & SA are better than Aussies. SA are still chokers.

Bollinger to Roach, OUT, high drama! Australia have appealed for a caught behind and Roach has been given, he wants a review, it's so marginal, can't really tell if he nicked it or not, replays aren't conclusive and in such cases I think the on-field decision should stay, Roach fended at the ball off the back foot as it angled across him ... the Australians were extremely confident ... Hot Spot shows nothing much ... the wait is long and tense ... and he's been given ... fair call too since there was no evidence either way

Aussie good at snake and ladders?
by sanp sidi on Dec 20, 2009 10:32 AM  | Hide replies

Man of the match: C Gayle
Man of the Series: C Gayle
Sledger of the match: S Benn

What is this Ponting?
You have played as many as 5 out of 9 close matches.
where are the winning margins, the 3-0 clearcut whitewashes, the 3-day clean test finishes, the killer sledger instinct. Even the top sledger award is being missed by you.

Ponting with this close finishes you are appearing as a chindichor like other captains. Ponting looking like thieving chindis from Dhoni and now from Gayle, heeheehoohoohaahaa.

There are rules against sledging. If the game's officials feel that the words used were within the rules, then one cannot fault the Ozzies for speaking in a manner that only appeared to be unsportsmanlike. Naturally, I prefer that all the players do their level best to keep the proceedings on a very gentlemanly plane. However, nowadays that is asking for a great deal. I suspect that we will no longer have such exemplary behavior on the field of play anymore. But you have to take the good with the bad.
