Its simple that’s what ever you do …… Irfan cannot be included in the team unless and until Dhoni is there as captain… there is lot of politics as chief selectors have to include their few players ( eg. Virat Kohli, Sudip Tyagi) and Dhoni want his few guys …. So no place for Irfan what ever he performs ……… till the next captain or selection panel changes….. Look at Irfans average in Batting/ bowling in current last 5 domestic matches ….. You will come to know the difference.

As stated by few people it is just and necessary that Irfan Pathan should be recalled. He is the only all rounder in our Country, who is a better batsman than the present top order batsmen.

Right one. Why no one is worring about Irfan Pathan? The only genuine alrounder India can have in near future? Everyone knows it is not because of cricket. He can do the same thing which our pacers are doing at the moment. But he can be a better batter that Dinesh Karthik in inT20 and one days. India shamelessly plays Dhoni & Karthik together when many other talented batsmen are waiting for a single chance.

if youvraj is not playing then yousuf pathan should be given a chance. he can turn tables in a match, wen he has better strike rate than dhoni why was he not sent one down in both th et2o matches???
yousuf pathan should be given a chance, for fielding issues kaif should be called in, we had a perfect trio of kaif, yuvraj and raina as front fielders saving maximum runs.

Kaif can't bat, off late. He is a spent force. Yousuf Pathan is a wild slogger, and a mediocre batsman. I don't know why they picked him in the ODI squad in the first place... probably due to T20 performance, where he is useful. Irfan Pathan is a much better allrounder, since he bats (like a good batsman) and bowls. Now, if he can get his bowling sorted out, he'll solve India's all-rounder problem. Sad to see his form spiral out, because he was a very good prospect at ages 19-21.

Correction: I meant Y. Pathan is a mediocre bowler (not batsman... he is a mediocre batsman as well, but I covered it under "wild slogger")
CHEEP DELHI PACERS AASHISH NEHRA& ISHANT SHOULD BY DROP FROM SQUARD AND AJIT AGARKAR MUST BE INCLUDED IN SQUARD. ATLEAST HE IS TAKEING WICKETS BY GIVING RUNS. AND HE IS CONSIERED RUNS TO ALLTIME GREATS JAYASURYA, HEYEN, SYMOMND, GILCHIRST, SAYED ANWAR, GYLE, SARWAN.
Yuvraj should be there in the remaining three one-days against Sri Lanka.Irfan patan should be called back because he is good at fast bowling and also a middle order batsmen. New players like Tyagi and Ojha should be there in the remaining one-days.
