Sehwag most entertaining, destructive batsman: Rameez
Was he watching Sehawag on public TV in Pakistan (As condition of Pak players is very bad) or in Stadium at Rajkot ?
if in Rajkot how terrorists are allowed in stadium or BCCI forgot security norms ?What Gujarath police was doing ? How terrorist was allowed ?

now a days sehwag is making runs so every 1 is praising him. compairing him wid sachin. it should be bcoz sehwag he the 1 who can destroy any bowling attack. but when he fails, these ppl starts critisizing him tht he has thrown his wkt by playing poor shot. they must b knwing tht in process of playing shots any1 can do mistake. but its true that instead of playing same game every time he needs to modify his game according to situation. but he cnt b compair with sachin. sachin playing style and nature of his batting is more wider than sehwag. let sehwag play for atleast 15 year with same consistency then we cn compair him with sachin. also he is not consistent in ODI(avg 35-36 only).

NO ONE IS COMPARING HIM WITH SACHIN.. HE IS BEING COMPARED WITH RICHARDS... HE HAS A AVERAGE OF 53 IN TESTS & STRIKE RATE OF 80... SACHIN HAS ALMOST THE SAME AVAERAGE BUT HIS STRIKE RATE IS 50... IN ODI VIRU HAS A STRIKE RATE OF 103...

Exactly . Sachin is master of accumulating runs. Not a match winner or destroyer of bowlers. Thats only Richards, Botham and Shewag. It is entertaining to watch a game when Shewag and Yuvi are in a zone.

Take a break..

Cricket is just another unpopular game (played in less that 5% of the countries in the world) like baseball. V and S are two good playeres among many other player in this unpopular game. Does it really matter who is better between S or V?

cricket must be unpopular and being played in less than 5% of the world countries. But it has a good fan following and BCCI is one of the most wealthiest sports organisation. This money has been given by the fans of cricket and the sponsors who want to penetrate into the fans population. And finally about Sachin, he is a role model for the world to imitate. being a sports person with great following, he has not allowed the fame to sink in. He is one of the most respected and adorable person in this century for his calmness and commitment. Let us follow his footsteps in our life (even if we are not cricketers) which will undoubtedly take us to success.

Tilakratne Dilshan, without any doubt, played a much valuable and better innings. What's the idea of giving "MoM" to Sehwag ? How many times Indians, despite losing the match have ben given "MoM" award. For that matter the result was'nt anything spectacular to tom-tom. We were lucky to scrape through.

People comparing Sachin, the legend, with sehwag are not Indians. Period.

The word "legend" means the person will be remembered for centuries to come. Do you think a sports person will be remembered after a couple of centuries?

How the hell one can compare a legend with almost 100 centuries with the one having only 50 centuries. There has to be some limit to foolishness. All these gavaskar, sehwag, dravid, ponting etc do not match upto the legendary Sachin. Bradman was the worst of them, playing just against one country, England which had no good bowlers at all.

We can only give some credit to Gavaskar because he faced all the fearsome bowlers.

I agree. No one except Marathis should be in the cricket hall of fame!!
Shiv Sena should build a special temple in Mumbai to house this hall of fame and make the Thackarey family the guardian of the temple for centuries to come.

Sehwag or Sachin
by kondepudi kiran on Dec 17, 2009 06:15 AM

We should be happy and feel proud to have great cricketers like Sachin and Sehwag in the Indian cricket team rather than criticizing them or selecting the best among them. Both of them have their own style of playing and are doing their best in cricket. Our Indians should realize this. Stop criticizing our own best cricket players.Enjoy cricket stop fighting among us.

Impact sehwag has
by Crick fan on Dec 17, 2009 03:41 AM

Its just not the number of runs that he score, but the impression he leaves on the bowlers. When the bowler is plundered right at the begining he loses his confidence / self assurance for a while. It becomes easier for the follwing batsman then after. This is huge benefit to the team.
