manoj Prabhakar is perfectly right in commenting that "There is so much T20 cricket these days; I call it tamasha cricket that is being played. There also are so many ODIs at a stretch." He is also right by saying that"Test cricket should be played regularly, only then will the players' characters be tested. Test match cricket is the real cricket". The fact is India has really been playing well as a No. 1 ranked Test Cricket playing nation. We cricket lovers would like to see India playing more test cricket with strong nations like Australia, S.Africa, England, Pakistan, West Indies etc., not with cheap teams like Bangla Desh etc., It is irony that too little test Cricket will be played during 2010. Then How can India retain the No. 1 test playing nation. BCCI is directly blamed for not arranging many maches during 2010. All credits goes to BCCI for their narrow minded thinking.

not Eden Gardens, it was Delhi's Feroz Shah Kotla-a league game against Sri Lanka in the 1996 WC. After this game he did not play including the Semi-Final against the same team at Eden Gardens - the game u r referring to.

india started win the matches after these fixers gone out like prabhakar,azhar and jadeja. indian record prior to 2000 when these guys were playing is very poor it is only after there departure india has started to win so please do not allow them near the indian players and team otherwise again they will book the match and team will loose
One of his last bowling innings was in the 96 world cup against Sri Lanka in Kotla where he was forced to bowl like a spinner against a rampaging Jayasuriya. And he wants to be a bowling coach. Apart from the fact that he is a traitor. Twice did he batted slowly deliberately when India was chasing a big total, alongwith another gaddaar Mongia.
BCCI, could you pls make him our batting coach for ODIs? He had a fantastic defense and could bat the whole of 50 overs!! It doesn't matter if we lose but he will teach players to preserve their wickets and not go for a win even if the required run rate is around 4 an over!!!
Don't know how on earth he had the courage to speak on making India number one! Shame on Rediff to even let these traitors on the site.
