he was deciplined bowler,no loss bowling, his carrier was finished too early, his injury was started when he bowled continously 35 overs in south africa tour, that was cruel captaincy by tendulkar.

deciplined = disciplined carrier = career
... and bad grammar. ------------------------------------ Nobody fast bowler can bowl 35 overs continuously and nobody did; where did you get these facts?

First correct your own english before crticizing others. Look at what you are writing ----"Nobody fast bowler can bowl 35 overs continuously and nobody did; where did you get these facts?" ---- Pravin was better !!

Then 10dulkar had no other trumph cards and so there was no good chance 4 him than this.
but what is he doing in the gym...? I heard that he has got swine flu..? He bowled well against Lanka....and should take rest and come back in one day matches

True, Pravin. Am glad that there are people who are aware of such facts and who are also keen to state them. Fully agree with you. Srinath career took off late thanks to Kapil Dev's extended career and Sri was flogged by unimaginative captains like Tendulkar. It is an irony that Tendulkar keeps extending his own career, by playing average knocks and getting accolades for the same from the blind fans...

yeah maybe, but he was also the fastest we had and had the unique knack of picking wickets early in the innings. And I dont recall him getting hit except for the world cup finals. All the hitters like Sanath, Afridi and Ijaz couldnt replicate their exploits against Sri. And all of them used to smash Srinath-less attack lead MR. Prasad and his medium paced friends.

Its absolute crap, can agree to some extent on Srinath being a good bowler, pls dont tell me abt Venky, he is just another bowler who played for india. Please check his records

Absolutely right. At one point we had 7 players from karnataka. All because of G. Viswanath who was in selection committee... Srinath is good but certainly not Venky.. There were better bowlers at that time who did not get a chance.

@narayanan, where did that M.Vijay surfaced from... he was not even in the fray... dont speak ill about our Original Little Master, he is the last person to do nepotism, even in state cricket, forget about national cricket... Grow up buddy.., Summer is fast approaching, wanna have a dry summer again...
