This man ganguly is a true team man unlike others.he should be credited to watever team india does now, before our team comprises of players from only one area and ordinary players like ravi shashtri enjoys too much of patronage, ganguly changed all that by giving importance to merit and youngsters.
The reson Ganguly is still playing is certainly not because he wants a place in the Indian team...He has retired from both Tests and One dayers. He has done immense service as a captain and player and he will never return back. But he will continue to play a few Ranji matches so that he can be fit for IPL 3. He is the Captain of KKR and he is an important memeber in the scheme of things... Thre is no doubt about his capablities as a player but to think that he is craving for a World Cup chance or to get back to the One Day team is rediculous.

Not only IPL3 is in his vision. He also wants Bengal to do well in Ranji trophy this season. Had only IPL3 been in his vision, he would have preferred to play in Ranji trophy one day tournament that is scheduled some time in Jan/Feb. Why would have he bothered himself with tiring 4 days of first class matches.

I dont think Ganguly is looking for Intl career. He will never come back. But he is eyeing for some world wide domestic T20 tournaments like IPL. It seems he got a deal from one of the county in England for next year. He will mint money and keep himself fit. I hope he plays in these games for a long time earns more fame. Love you Sourav.
I believe Dada wants to keep himself fit and in form till WC 2011 so that if India needs him, he would make himself available. This is his 3rd excellent inning in this season of Ranji trophy. Hope Bengal secures full points against Delhi and makes the way to Ranji trophy quarter final.

Delhi need at least three points (a first innings lead) to make the quarter-finals, while one point will suffice for Bengal to avoid a probable relegation threat.
