Chappel, however a good batsman that he HAD been; but he is a poor student of cricket He may say anything he wishes but he is a very poor judge of cricket & cricketeers. Is there any recipe to avoid Grep Chappell and his comments in India at least.... He is one crazy overrated coach always in search of spotlight at the behest of the team he is coaching with his so called De Bono theory...
Actually he is a true Australian.He broke the team spirit of Indian team,remove a great captain,divide team to rule,spoiled Pathan & Shewag(that time),aviod Gambhir etc.etc. Result-Australia won WC,07. India would be No.1 team in test cricket at least 3 years ago.

Dada was only good as a captain. As a player, he was of no use. So as long as, team could play with 10 players with a great captain (but useless player), team india was winning. When team started needing utility of the 11th player, dada proved to be costly affair and had to be removed from the team.
Bengal should produce some more good cricketers. Even in KKR, only non-bengali players are playing, or even if there is a bengali player, he is not good enough to be talked about.

Why do u say that Dada was a useless player , over 18000 international runs by s useless player. Show me the players who have scored more runs than him and you will find all of them are all time greats .. Think before you speak..

dude...... right u r.....bengal should bring more talent.....but u know in bengal we consider people like Luxmi shukla as bengalis only....not as outsiders.......like its done in maharashtra and other parts.....any body living in bengal is equally bengali like dada... one ur first thought.... some1 who averages 42 in test and onedays can not be termed as useless player.. (gr8 vengsarkar and vishwa had same avg)......if u have a unnecessary hatred towards dada...then its a diff thing

Sourav's scoring rate compared with Vengsarkar ? They played at two different periods i cricketing history and you should not forget that Vengsarkar ended his career too early.Compare if you like , Sourav and Ponting , or Sourav and Mark Taylor .

Mr shyam kumar.. both dada and vengsarkar played nearly equal tests....scored nearly equal runs.....and had similar avg........yes they played in diff periods......but that doesnt make dada a useless batsman......... ricky is a gr8 batsman......dada not as good.......but still dada cant b termed as useless
