Sachin playing ODI is forcing sehwag&gambir to split their combination&understanding. Sachin sitting pretty at home after test matches and comes in fresh without being played with any touch, ryhthem&spirit and occupies opening slot by making a split to Gambir&sehwag who plays as an opening batsman cin all forms of game. Is it justified on part of sachin?

km_vb, That is the way its going to be as long as Sachin is playing good as he is right now. Until Sachin retires, you can just suck it up or run crying to mama. Sorry dear.

Chappel handled this issue quite well....it's all most loud and clear that only ambition sachin having today is to open the innings so that he can score 50 one day hundreds and nothing else....clearly he is strugling at opening position....unable to play his natural game, getting out frequently against quality pace attack early in the innings...not able to provide good starts...only on a very flat pitch and against friendliest attack he is scoring runs....clearly disturbing sehwag-Gambir opening partnership....he is not flexible in his batting order...cant play at middle order...chappel is the one who clearly ordered him to play at the middle order and according to team needs....the result obviously entire country knows...accused the coach and still hanging desperately to opening position....he is now a burden to team india unlike Great Dravid who showed everyone how to play for team needs rather than personal ambitions.....sooner dravid comes in place of sachin, better is for team india...sachin is a spent force...cant expect much frm him in big tournaments

KM VB:
Your query should more fairly and squarely be directed at Mr. Mahender Singh Dhoni and Mr. Gary Kirsten, who, if they are doing their jobs rightly, are responsible for setting up the batting order. :)
BTW, the inflation rate just crossed the double digits as reported by many news agencies. Too bad that Sachin isn't controlling that either. :)

Venky you have gieven TWO why you believe the match was fixed. let me ask you. If it is true.that means INDIA was suppose to win. if so, why did indian droped the catches and allowed Srilankan to make huge score? It isn't easy to chase 200 plus score.

You don't like cricket, but like reading cricket stories and commenting on them. HYPOCRITE is your surname. One advice: Don't ever waste doing things you don't like. You like football, go watch it. Who's stopping you. GET LOST. And yes, someone here is right that hell is reserved for you.
