The reason for many defeats in the past 10 months is due to the incorrect batting order. The following batting order should be followed to win more matches. 1. Gautham Gambhir. 2. Virender Sehwag. 3. Suresh Raina. 4. Yusuf Pathan or Rohit Sharma. 5. Yuvraj Singh. 6. Dhoni or Parthiv Patel. 7. Ravindra Jadeja. 8. Ojha or Harbhajan Singh. 9. Zaheer Khan. 10. Praveen Kumar or Ashish Nehra. 11. Sreesanth or Ishanth Sharma .
Outside Indian pitches, we need Dravid (as Wicket Keeper in ODI’s only), Tendulkar (Should come in at No-3 or 4 in ODI’s only) instead of Dhoni & Yusuf Pathan. This is the best talent presently available in India. If this team is selected we can win most of our matches.

I second your thought Srinivasan. Suresh Raina bats at 3 for his IPL team Superkings. Yusuf is perfect at 4 because he needs to get a few deliveries before playing his shots. Yuvi can come at 5 because he is good contact hitter and doesn't need more than 2 balls to get going. Dhoni being the WK must stick to the bottom of the pile. He acts too smart by playing 'skipper' in the literal sense, the moron.

perfect team and batting order. I don't recommend partiv patel. Instead it should be Dinesh Karthik. Jedaja is not doing well. We should opt for Irfan Pathan since for spin we have Sehwag, yousuf, raina, rohit and yuvi.
If Rohit is in 4th place then Yufi shuold bat 5. If yousuf is there then Yufi to be at 4.

He's considered a big hitter in test and ODIs but he's a super slow bat in T20. In ODIs his 90plus strike is considered great, in T20 90something or 100 is not good at all especially in our super flat pitches. Dhoni should himself and India a favour by either not playing T20 or change the way he plays T20. Even Dravid has a much better strike rate than captain cool which is funny because Dravid isn't the biggest hitter in the world.

its a big lie that we do well in ODIs,we havent won a major tournament in oer 26 years and flopped in recent ones too,so i dont know how he came up with this "WE PLAY TESTS AND ODIS WELL"
Only his team is taking T20s as practise, but he is making it sound as if everyone in the world takes T20 as Practice games.

Yeah a big liar. India's recent ODIs record is pathetic! India was a joke in CT in SA and later lost a series against Australia A team. I bet Aussie domestic teams like Victorian Bushrangers and New South wales would beat Team India black and blue in ODIs as well as in T20. They're doing well in test cricket because Gambhir is in the form of his life, and the team still has the ever reliable Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar in it.

"We have done well in Tests and One-dayers but our performance in Twenty20s has not been that good. You just play one game before a one-day series and that has not helped. It was disappointing the way we performed in the last Twenty20 World Cup. We have to improve," Dhoni said.
What a big lie, when did we play well in ODIS,lost badly to pak in Champs trophy and crashed out there and lost to AUS(a second rated team that looked like AUS A team)never won a wcup in over 26 years or a big tournament....
Re: Dhoni stop lying

AUS have won 4 wcups(3 in a row,two without losing a single game)but if they just loose one series then they become worthless team who are no good except for sledging, whereas our team gets number one tag for the first time and already is invincible except in T20s..wow,what a double standard.. AUS is the number one team in the last 2 decades no one can dispute that, the whole series in AUS 2008 our media were complaining that umpiring helped aus to win, what about this one against SLANKA.. BCCIs bullying is going overboard, time will come when all the match fixers are going to be exposed....not just a scapegoat AZHAR...

Buddy u r going overboard now. U mean to say that whenever india wins, it is all fixed. Grt analysis that!
India is not doing well 'cause of the makeup of the twenty-twenty team and that they dont play together very much.
We need technically solid batsmen that can wack the bowling like Sewag and Gambhir in the middle order.
You have a middle order that is built buy guys that have no experience in international cricket or competitive domestic cricket.
IPL simply is a club cricket. When u chose people based on IPL performance, the team suffers. Sreekanth's selection lacks imagination. I am sure Dhoni is to be blamed too.
Why would u have Raina that has a problem with bouncers or quality pace bowling play in your team? The guy has the problem for more than a year and has not improved it at all. You keep picking him! Why would he improve?
Then you have Yusuf. He has practically been not allowed to play his game. This guy is either not getting the kind of support from his captain or is simply not tough enough to play international cricket. He gets picked up base don his IPL performance. Perhaps he should be asked to go back to ranji trophy and prove himself.
Dhoni has completely lost it. He is no longer the twenty-twenty bang bang guy.

The poor performance is more due to funny decisions by dhoni such as promoting himself to no.3 Raina was one of our best no.3 guys in the T-20, but comes down so low that he is failure. Dhoni needs to get his act right.
