I feel Pakistan cricketers and authorities should rather read news in their own most popular newspaper, The Dawn rather than raising hue and cry in the Indian media. As per the article, its only the PCB and the cricketers themselves to blame for the chaos. Here is the excerpt from the newspaper:
It may be mentioned here that a mistake on the PCB’s part prompted the IPL organisers to close their doors on the Pakistani players. The IPL had set Dec 7 as the last date to confirm the entry of the players. But the PCB could not issue the NOC to the players after getting clearance from the relative authorities.
On Dec 7, Modi had announced that no Pakistani players would feature in the IPL because they failed to send the entries before the deadline.
But the Pakistani players, who were enthusiastic about the participation in the league, raised lot of hue and cry over the issue which compelled the PCB chairman to speak to Modi about their status.
Soon afterwards, a new deadline was set for the Pakistani players which was met well on time as the federal government also issued the NOCs to the players.
In a following development, the Indian government allowed its High Commission in Islamabad to issue visas to the Pakistani players and all of them were quite hopeful about their appearance in the league.
Modi had said IPL had extended the time deadline twice for Pak players to get Visas to visit and play in India.
My question is, why does Pakistan expect special treatement from India? If every other national players can get visa on time, why can't you ensure your players participation?
If you cannot handle simple logistics like visa, then the minister should be fired and they should find someone that can get the job done.
Personally I don't care for people that whine about everything!
You can have pride. But you cannot cross the line and blame someone else everytime you screw up!

Yes, I agree with you. I like the sporting spirit of Pakistan players when they were part of IPL held in India. Unfortunately, your govt is playing games with different thoughts. You ministers always blames India for everything for their own relaxedness.

Rehan: When you read what Modi has said, he clearly wanted Pakistan players to play in IPL. That is why, he had extended the deadline to submit visas two times.
It appears the Ministry in Pakistan expects some special treatement for pakistan players. It seems to me the paki. ministry got lazy and didn't do their job and couldn't take care of the simple logistics.
My question to you is,
Where do you find the reason to blame it on india, Mr. Modi and the IPL?
Why do you think that a professional board like Pak. cricket board be given any more importance than say Srilanka or Australia? They seem to whine a lot more than act like a reasonable organization.
I have noticed that Pakistani cricket board has the habit of blaming india for everything.

Mr. Modi, accept that they have become very decent that this time at least they are asking for visas, the last time around they just sent them in a boat without visas or passport straight to the Taj and Gateway of India !
