Its a treat to watch aussies playing cricket
by abhishek on Dec 08, 2009 02:46 PM  | Hide replies

When aussies are playing cricket u can leave anything in this world to watch them...

1) Their ground fielding
2) Their pace bowling...
3) Batting
4) ground conditions
5) pitch conditions
6)sportive atmosphere
everything is quite professional and competitive . The only area where aussies lack is their spin attack which lost its flair wen shane warne left the team...they are quite weak against playing spin which they should improve.

On the other hand...the matches that are played in India
1) have poor wickets
2) have poor ground conditions
3) poor firlding skills
4) batting skills that clikcs only wen the pitches are docile otherwise we bunble out under 100
5) there is no pace bowling in India
6) only spin attack that is pretty good as we generally bowl on spoilt wickets that turns even if kumble's son will bowl
7) unsportive crowds that support only wen india is playing well otherwise they are seen in stadium

WE ARE NO WHERE NEAR AUSSIES

Right, only india can bat on poor wickets all other teams have been stopped to play well on those wickets.Only indians can field on poor ground conditions without getting injured(We have mohali stadium one of the beautifull stadium in world,we have eden garden which no one compare)what is firlding?????? only indians have batting skills on so called placid wickets other batsmans have been stopped by some invisible power,no pace bowling jaheer and shreesant are spinners because india only produce spinners.Australians are so honest that they want to win every matches at their soil by hook or by crook whether they have include umpimersin their squad remember the series where india lost by2-1 india could win that series by 2-1 thanks to umpires and honest australians they are so supportive that they are attacking asians just because they know they can't beat them in cricket and education.

Do you know that the injury hit Australian team beat India 4-2 on their home turf recently?

Ausssies have the capability to beat any country on its home ground. They have the capability to win big tournaments like WC (Champion since 1999) and ICC Champions Trophy (2005-India,2009-SA). No other country has such capability.

Contary to this, the so called No. 1 Team India have been first round crashers in big tournaments. Team India can win only bi-lateral ties which are fixed by BCCI and sponsors money, a few tournament bt freak (like 1983 WC and 2007 T20 WC)

Yes you are right. We are a lowly ranked No.1 in the world whereas the Aussies are a very highly ranked No.3 or No.4. Bonehead, do you need reminding that Aussies were heavily mauled last time they played India in a test series?

But in the recent one day series they beat India handsomely 4-2 in India itself.

Aussie cricket has been on rebuilding stage after retirement of Warne, Mcgrath, Gilchrist and Hayden and out of form Brett Leeand injured Ponting. They visited India last year to play 2 test matches under adverse conditions and for the first time they had no regrets losing the matches.

Don't be so jealous about Australian cricketers. Learn from them to win everywhere, in all countries, all surfaces and all conditions.

No other team can do this.

Australia have won 1 Test series played in India in the last 44 years.

Winning a test series in India has been their waterloo.

Yes they have been dominant and have given the Indian Team a run for their money on most occasions. But its surly to castigate whats in India and sing paeans about the situation down under.

1.How about the way the play the game.
2. Their foul mouthed abuse to opponents and umpires.
3. Their blinkered media.
4. I dare Australia to produce a turner, now that Warne has retired. Lets see how sporting they are.
5. I dare Australia to produce a batting paradise when India tours them and get a result.

They have dominated for last 15 years cos of great individuals who hav come through at the same time. But they are the worst sportsmen you can ever see.

I admire Steve Waugh as a captain but he comes bottom drawer as a sportsman.

So would many of his team mates, their winningness and records are wonderful, but have they conducted themselves admirably is another question.

For love of cricket.

Cheers

West Indies on Top, Aussies in doldrums.
by Kumar Chakraborthy on Dec 08, 2009 01:31 PM  | Hide replies

Though the match ended in a draw, Aussies are feeling they wewre defetead. Why? Few days back their ex-captain Kim Hughes has asked ICC to reprieve West Indies fr. playing Test cricket until they qualify by playing one cricket for some time. But the rapid turnover by the Windies in this test have tarnished the image of the Aussies. Hence all are weeping. But Asians should laugh. AUssies are beaten on & off the ground. Congrats Gayle. Keep it up. Series is 1-1 tied morally. An extra genuine spinner in the West Indies camp would have led them to victory in this test. All those so called commentors are weeping now.

At the end of the day, the match stats will still show the game to be drawn. Why can't we appreciate the fighting spirit of the Aussies. You should have heard the sage advice given by the great Vijay Merchant to Indians when we toured Australia in the late 70s. It is easy to keep talking nonsense.

It was a very tough wicket to bat on the fifth day. The wicket had cracked everywhere and WI were unlucky to win the match, thanks to the failure of Benn who did not bowl as deadly as first innings.

But full marks to Shane Watson and Michael for playing it very well today. Both players are very talented and have great shots against toughest bowling.

He is the one responsible for many guilts. Few of them are:
1. Unfair play and cheating, if we remember Sydney test.
2. Always used to be behind in over rate.
3. Too big mouth and sledger.
4. Keeps on crying every year with so called captains diary.

This guy will do anything to win a game - like they did in that Sydney match against Ganguly - claiming a grassed catch!
