He is the person who gave the fresh blood to the Indian team. Dont forget all the current stars were introduced by Ganguly (Sehwag, Youraj, Dhoni, Bajji, and so many). He is the person who proves that India can win without Sachin.

right...so Jadeja was the best captain India ever produced...what a logic? BTW...have you ever heard of the phrase called "nurturing talent"...or it is beyond your dictionary?
Saorav became captain at a time when India team was full of traitors like Jadeja and Azhar. Sachin has failed as a captain. He infused new life in the Indian cricket and turned around the outlook and attitude. Een the austrailians were scared of indian team now. His befitting reply at Lords was commendable. Unfortunately his last days was ruined by chappel but again, he came back to the Indian team by virtue of his performance in domestic cricket. Now there a lot of people who will shout and try to bring him down, but listen guys, the more you bark, more famous and great he will be.

Dgoni has 7 qon no loss but 33 drawn. only overseas win is NZ at Hamiltom. Tendulkar 160 half centuries Gambhir Dravid bowling Harbhan 7 Munaf 5 and Ishant 4 wickets each did us in.
Both Ganguly and Dhoni are great captains in their own right. While Ganguly built the team from ruins, Dhoni led an unknown team to the world championship. However, I feel Dhoni has managed his better in that there is better team spirit now. It is as much because of his friendly style as because of his unmatched resilience. I can recall. in the T20 WC, Yuvi faked injury after hitting 6 sixes and immediately his father started creating noises about his son deserving captaincy. India won the next match without Yuvi and Yuvi immediately knew he was not indispensable. Thereafter, Dhoni made Yuvi his personal friend and defended him in every crisis, thereby winning his loyalty. Ganguly lacked in such man-management. Chappel succeeded only because there were already fissures in the team. Ganguly's attempts to push in Deep Dasgupta, S.S. Das and Ashish Mohanty eroded his credibility.

Dhoni should inspire nations youth to get united and take over control from neta and govt. As long as its run by old poltician india cant move in good direction. Dhoni has tremendous influence. His charisma can be real booster and inspiring for the nation's growth. Amitabh bachan wasted his charisma for so many decades, he could have influenced UP, Bihar on new direction but he sat quiete.
SOURAV GANGULI is the GREATEST CAPTAIN without a shred of doubt,the term TEAM INDIA got significance under his daredevil leadership,the approach Ganguli took was never seen before in Indian captain's role.If all of us as Indians leave our biases behind,there is no denying the leadership that Ganguli had shown and taken the opposing teams by their horns.The kind of personal attacks and sometimes filthy langauge used against him by some is evident how those people are jealous of his accomplishments as a captain & player of the Indian team,shame on them for trying to belittle his work with just words.DADA WILL REMAIN CLOSE TO OUR HEARTS FOREVER,a true "mard ka bachcha",a real life super-hero,SHABAASH DADA.

ganguly was a very very good batsman before 2003. after that he became a useless player who cannt score runs against high quality bowling attacks.

Some times the statistical data will adversely affect the individual efficacy.Although THE Ganguly is the best and now Dhoni.Both of them were holding the captaincy in different constraints.Gangulys aggresiveness,hold on the selectors and command on the squad makes him a unique and now Dhoni.
