Very true based on your logic Sreesanth should not have been in team, Bhajji should have been dropped long back, Sehwag should have been out after Australia tour,,, grow up man grow up. Your nutty brain does not capture anything beyond regional politics,,,, Get well soon,,,,,,
Please See the politics in Indian cricket team how many players are selected for the benefit of the selectors interest. 15 player only from rest of whole India - But 16 players from just three places Delhi, Tamil Nadu & Uttar Pradesh....!
Uttar Pradesh for Rajiv Shukla (BCCI vice president)-

At some level, the selectors are able to identify local talent more from their area.
But, that is bound to happen and cannot be considered as Bias.
Whatever said and done, being biased in selection can help a person come into the team, but only performance can help a player retain his position in the side.
As pointed out above, there are around 31 players in the pool and any team can have only 11 players. So Merit alone survives.
Veeru has most number of Man of the series among Indians from just 72 matches...He shares the spot with Sachin, Kapil and Kumble... Dravid has only 3... Interestingly even some other greats like Lara and Ponting has only 3... and Veeru has none of these awards against Ban or Zim..which is amazing ..!!
