It is quite surprising that doni has developed such personal enimity against players like sehwag, sreesanth, utthappa and likes of ishanth, rohit& virat inspite of failures...SHAME on K srikant and DHONI
Dhoni's politics will ruin this team. My experience with Biharis has taught me that even the most brilliant Biharis (and there are quite a few brilliant guys among them)...even the absolute best Biharis are prone to EXTENSIVE politiking (groupism) in team dynamics. The reason that state is the most backward in the nation, inspite of mineral resources and brainiacs, is because they will double cross one another. Dont all for Dhoni's smile and sweet talk, he will shrewdly ease out players that dont say 'yes sir, no sir' to him. and he will do this irrespective of their talent and contribution (Be it Sehwag or Sreesanth). He will not do it blatantly - these guys are too smart to reveal their politics - he will first cause them to fail, by denying them opportunities (if they are bowlers) or spoiling their rhythm (convincing them to bat lower down, or bat slow n defensively in the 'interest of the team'...or by ignoring Sehwag in team meetings, or generally making life difficult behind the scenes to hurt the ego). Eventually Dhoni will fill the team with yes men, and invariably the performance will begin to go downhill. As of now, Dhoni is relishing the hardwork of captains before him (especailly Ganguly - who whatever else his faults, didnot encourage groupism or regionalism, and encouraged youngsters like Sehwag to flourish). Sehwag is a straight talking person, who speaks his heart out, and always praises Ganguly's leadership. Sehwag wont be in team India after World Cup.
Dhoni and Bhajji's politics kept Sreesanth from bowling more. After his stupendous success in the last test, they - dhoni and Bhajji - grew insecure and were scared that Sreesanth will repeat his success in Mumbai too.
So even though he bowled a tighter line and had more maidens that ZAheer, he was quickly pulled out of the attack, and replaced with Zaheer!
On the last day, only Zaheer was made to bowl and Sreesanth was in the outfield. This Dhoni bhajji politics will create bad blood and ruin this wonderful team. Mark my words!!!
India could achived that peak 2 years ago if Ganguly was continuing his captaincy or Dravid was capable as captain.Remember one think any thing Ganguly did was for betterment of Indian team. His thinking as captain was miles ahead of others.Border-Taylor made team Australia.Wough made them Champion. Now Dhoni's time to make India Champion.Good luck Dhoni.

Sri by fluke got five wickets in the earlier match. Thanx to MSD, Sri got a luk-into in the match or else who kud have thought Sri wud be playing International matches after his on-field & off-field antics in the recent past? To continue playing at this level he has to master the art of fast bowling himself nobody else can teach him to learn it & practice it.

So you think your dad taught him to get those 5 wickets when Zaheer could do nothing! :) LOL

Dhoni was supporting Ishant Sharma adamently even after his continued poor show. He didn't like Sresshant to take his place. Now, obviously he must be feeling embarrassed that Ishant is dropped and Sreeshat is doing better than him. Dhoni doesn't have much regard for Shewag either ever since the rift during T20WC. During prize distribution , could see the faces of Dhoni and few other senior players clapping rather unceremoniously when Shewag took both MoM and MoS . This kind of spirit will continue and may cause intermittent poor show of the team.

Yes its nice to see Great Grandfathers and Great Grandsons all playing in the same team.
Sehwag shown good gesture by giving thx to former captain, I think the great left hander could have been in the current team but because of politics he was thrown out. but some people says that he himself used to play politics and he destroyed career of some good players.
Now everybody praising and thinking about dada. once up on a time everybody hate dada. but now india's no:1 position b coz of Ganguly only. He introtuced such a super yongstairs and encouraged them also. he has given such a excellant basement but dhoni fully utilised that basement. Before dada captaincy india Test and Odi both ranking position very worst. after dada captaincy india climped good ranking position. All team players like Dada like Viru,Yuvi,Baji,Zaheer ann senior players like VVS,Sachin,Rahul. all player heart he got a special place.B coz of that bloody Chappel ganguly left from the team. he tried to split the team but later on BCCI wake uped and sucked the bloody chappell. All young players till graditude with Dada.He is a role model of all young generation. Another one request to MR.Dhoni. Don't disturb senior players like VVS,Sachin and Rahul if they are not in team india's win not possoble. Your team mates should give proper respects to senior players. They are batting legends.
when viru was in bad form in 2006. in fact dravid fought with selectors during WC 2007 to pick viru. cunning vengsarkar never wanted viru in side , he wanted jaffer.
