by arvin g on Dec 08, 2009 02:22 AM

bcci stands for bunch of corrupt and crook indians with only one agenda... how yo make more and more money... test cricket does not mean anything to them... if possible all they want is ipl 20/20 all year long... pawar/modi are not in it for love of cricket but to make money by hook or crook... very soon india may not play test cricket at all...

The problem is that the ICC's Future Tours Program (which required all full members to play each other, home & away, atleast twice in a couple of years) is expiring soon. The BCCI is not interested in signing up for another FTP since it knows that not all tours yield the same revenue. India playing Aus, Eng, SA or Pak is far more marketable to sponsors than when it plays NZ, WI or Bang. Therefore no FTP exists right now & the BCCI is using the break to schedule as many ODIs & Twenty20s as possible to make the most of this moneymaking opportunity. So, who's to blame for this stalemate? The ICC for requiring all full member countries to play each other or the BCCI for not wanting to work out a compromise with the ICC (like maybe a two-tier Test cricket schedule which will have the stronger teams playing each other in a greater no. of test matches) ? And in the meantime it's the test cricket fan that suffers. Such a shame really...

We are very proud for No1 Spot, but its take how much period. As per cricker Calender we have played 2 no of Test in 2010 agst Bangladesh. Earlier I come to know there is one series with South Africal 3 Test & 5 ODI in 28 Jan-2010 week to 10th March 2010. What about that schedule.

Recently Sout Africa came to India in 2008. So I think, now it is India's turn to visit SA.

India should play more test matches.
by SASHISEKHAR CHAKRABORTY on Dec 07, 2009 09:44 AM

India should play more test matches and that should be against formidable sides in world cricket. Playing with minnows wont help the cause. To retain the number one spot the administrators should reschedule the season and arrange for more test matches in 2010 and 2011.

NEED IMPROVEMENT IN ATTITUDE
by Kunal Shah on Dec 06, 2009 11:10 PM  | Hide replies

was lucky enough to witness the test win.But truly dissapointed with the attitude of Indian Players. Spectators spent 200 rs daily pass tickets and the team didnt even run a victroy march around the playing area to thank the Indian Supporters. Another dissapointing issue was one related to sale of tickets. The ground authorities suspended selling of east stand tickets which were low in price ( Rs 50 ) and spectators were compelled to buy expensive tickets of North Stand ( Rs.200 ) which finally got wasted as the match finished within the first 45 mins of play. The east stand was much vacant ( Nealry 60%) .. Such a greedy attitude of the authorities is a BIG PUT OFF ...Mr PAWAR - R U READING THIS ?? and Once Again the Indian Players should have been sporting enough to atleast do a victory march and thank supporters -

Also the soundsystem at the stands was hopless and useless - Who says India is the richest crick board

All organisations including government is trying to squeeze public. What is read about east stand tickets is really cruel. They know well that cricket fans will spend whatever is offered as it was alomost sure that India will win the match. So they acted greedily.
