Sanga was not complaining when India lost the last series with SL due to a whole issue with the referral system. It was nice when it worked for them. With the referal system even Sanga would have been out earlier. Ridiculous comments. Did Viru give him any chance? Was Murali being thrashed because of the absence of a referral system? Were Sree's outswingers coming due the lack of UDRS? SL is a fantastic team which almost did India in the 1st test. They lost their way subsequently, dont blame it on umpiring. India has suffered Sri Lankan umpires for so long, even Kapil remarked once, 'This team cant win a match outside SL'. These were neutral umpires & their mistakes affect both teams
Review system is better than not having it. Anyway it is going to benefit both the teams. I feel LBW it self can be replaced by PAD-CATH-OUT system. That is if the ball pops from the pad and catch is taken he can be declared out.

ur suggestion proves you have no brains. Pad catches are only possible if the bowlers were spinners.. otherwise there are hardly any bat pad catches ... Review System is pathetic as a captain is more or less dependent on wk keeper to ask for review. This is pathetic as wk is new and inexperianced he will take a review when not needed. Cricket is not supposed to give an advantage to a team with better reviewers but for better players/

You have no idea about cricket. Better knwo something atleast. Atleast play for a while and know it. Even for fast bowlers if batsman plays with pad ball pop out for a catch. It is much better than LBW which does not guarantee the ball would have hit the stumps.

Its absurd to discard a system just because its not 100% correct or 'fool proof'. Who and what on earth is 100% accurate? Even human lives r no matter how good a health system and mechanism is, no matter what all V do to fight diseases, V all still die... but V still do strive to have a good health system in place, isn't it coz it at least betters the situation than otherwise. So, referral system if better (which it is) than if not existant, then it should be FORCED upon. Its surprising y was it not there this series. Another point - though SEhwag's innings was a gem of an innings, it was sad to see him scoring tons of runs on a school sized playground. Its not that Brabourne/ Wankhede has the smallest of grounds, but then BCCI and other Boards have gone overboard to smallen the grounds to facilitate big scores and big hits with ease - all in order to attract more n more audience. This measure I feel is very very unfair. Its unfair to all those batsmen of the past who have had not been given the luxory to score on smaller grounds. There could have been many Sehwag shorts in this innings which may have not turned into 4s and 6s for what of normal sized boundaries. Though the boundary lenghts r same for both the playing nations of the match, its unfair for others who play on bigger grounds like those in Australia, Pakistan or even SriLanka. This system of smaller boundaries is totally unfair on statistical grounds, coz the batsmen unduly get advantage over those who had
I do not think so. Winning on flat pitches means nothing to a true cricketer lovers.
Instead of feeling good and satisfied, I feel sad that BCCI is killing test mercilessly. I have been watching cricket for long time, but never I have seen a series with such huge scores--600 or 700 runs.
On flat pitches, one does not need technique but the brute power to scoring tons of runs.
What is the point of playing cricket on such pitches, why not play baseball?
Being Ranked#1 does not necessarily means #1 team in reality. This is true for Indian Team.

This pitch was more sporting than most pitches world-wide. it had everything for the bowlers as it had for the batsman. I believe you are not a good follower of the game. Change your zone of blogging.
