big put off for Indian Supporters
by Kunal Shah on Dec 06, 2009 11:08 PM

was lucky enough to witness the test win.But truly dissapointed with the attitude of Indian Players. Spectators spent 200 rs daily pass tickets and the team didnt even run a victroy march around the playing area to thank the Indian Supporters. Another dissapointing issue was one related to sale of tickets. The ground authorities suspended selling of east stand tickets which were low in price ( Rs 50 ) and spectators were compelled to buy expensive tickets of North Stand ( Rs.200 ) which finally got wasted as the match finished within the first 45 mins of play. The east stand was much vacant ( Nealry 60%) .. Such a greedy attitude of the authorities is a BIG PUT OFF ...Mr PAWAR - R U READING THIS ?? and Once Again the Indian Players should have been sporting enough to atleast do a victory march and thank supporters -

Also the sound system in stands was pathetic- Hopless ! Indian boards are supposed to be richests ..Ground realities - DIFFERNT ! !

Ravindra Jadeja: Good for nothing
by gaurav manchanda on Dec 05, 2009 11:07 PM  | Hide replies

I am very thankful to the Indian selectors for the exclusion of ravindra jadeja from the T20 squad. But at the same time, i am very upset for his inclusion in the Indian ODI squad.

Sehwag is a player who can win the match for India at his own whereas ravinndra jadeja is a player who can loose the won match at his own.

Jadeja can play only as a bowler in the ODI but this will affect the balance of the team. he is not a batsman. In ODIs, bhajji batting is much better than Jadeja. If jadeja is included in the team then he will have to bat at number 7. At number 7 there shud b a player who is capable of scoring quick runs with a strike rate of more than 95. Jadeja can nt play big shots.

India should seriously search for a Bowling All rounder
by Senthil on Dec 05, 2009 10:24 PM

He can bat at No.6 and who can bowl at least 15 good overs a day. My choices are B.Kumar from UP and R.Jadeja. What he is doing in the ODI's? I really want he should be tried in upcoming Bangaladesh Test series atlast. Yuvi is not grown up to the test level. With 4 bowlers No team can't stand at No.1 Position once our famed Batting trio of Sachin, Dravid and Laxman retires.

This series shows absence of Anil Kumble
by your Doctor on Dec 05, 2009 10:15 PM

India shows lapse of strike bowler, unable to find replacement for Anil Kumble. No leg spinner has clicked piyush chawla showed some promise but failed to do much in international scenerio. Certainly there will be many but has to be searched without bias.

bowling is poor..
by Dhantannan on Dec 05, 2009 10:10 PM  | Hide replies

irrespective of outcome, our bowling remains v.poor.
zaheer not finding rhythm in series.
ojha just not learning where to pitch ball on a turning track.
bhajji is not force he used to be .
srishant has done enough in kanpur, so he won't do much for few more tests.
we struggled to get tailenders out in kanpur, now same in mumbai.
if tailender put 200 runs more, india could be in real serious trouble on a turning track by murli and others tommorrow.

Sachin Tendulkar
by Suhas on Dec 05, 2009 09:40 PM  | Hide replies

There are only 2 ways Sachin Tendulkar loses his wicket - 1. He makes a mistake and 2. Umpire makes a mistake. You cannot get the better of Sachin Tendulkar by playing better than him!
