Family union for success.
by manoj sharma on Dec 05, 2009 11:33 PM

There is inherent disliking in brothers, sisters, parents. U cant change it. People do feel uncomfortable with family performing publicly. Nothing wrong in it.
As long as his brother does help him in preparation for game, give him feedback later. Thats all you need. Lots of brohthers in india just want to kill their brother and take away property. Sachin is better than them.

If India wins the World Cup in 2011 .......
by Dire Straits on Dec 05, 2009 08:22 PM  | Hide replies

Then I wonder what these poor critics will complain of Sachin. The only major achievement he has to accomplish is be a member of a World Cup winning team. I bet the critics will weep for their rest of the life if that happens, LOL.

By the way, here are Sachin's accomplishments -

1. Test series victory against every nation except South Africa. We'll face South Africa for 2 Test series next year. So, there is every chance of that happening.

2. Test series victory in all Test playing nations except Australia, Sri Lanka and South Africa. We'll get the chance to beat S.A in their home next year. Let's be honest, Australia has rarely been beaten at their home for a Test series.

3. ODI series victory against every major team.

Sorry Mr. Bhaskar, I didn't check out the stats. In fact India till date has won 2 Test series against South Africa. One in 1995/96, another in 2004/05.

India plays well without Sachin only for shortwhile. Infact it will be good if they play well without him because, He might play after 3 or 4 yrs then. Who is going to replace him. Its a question.

Yeah, that makes sense. I still remember how well the Indian team played without Sachin in the match against Zimbabwe in the 1999 World Cup, after Sachin went home due to his father's demise. India showed the world that day what type of a team it was in the 90's without Sachin.

CRICKET - SACHIN
by nair sp on Dec 05, 2009 07:45 PM  | Hide replies

WHAT IS IMPORTANT HERE IS THAT "U CAUSE TO WIN" WHEN U PLAY! WINNING A CRICKET MATCH IS A COLLECTIVE EFFORTS AND IT IS NOT BASED ON ONE SINGLE PLAYER! BUT IF U LOOK AT SACHIN'S RECORD, U WILL B CONVINCED BEYOND DOUBT THAT HE PLAYED MORE FOR HIM N LESS FOR THE COUNTRY AND IT IS A WIDELY ACCEPTED FACT. NOW ANYBODY LIKES IT OR NOT! THAT IS HIS OR HER PROBLEM!

Really ? Why don't you give some examples and prove you point. Why don't you give instances where he sacrificed his team's interest and played for himself ? Simp[ly making statements don't count, back them up with instances and facts.

TAKE OUT HIS RECORDS N U WILL BE REPLIED. WHENEVER THE TEAM AND/OR COUNTRY COUNTED ON HIM, HE FAILED! U WILL C VERY FEW MATCHES INDIA WON B'CAUSE OF UR KIN. HE HAS SIMPLY PLAYED TO CREATE HIS OWN RECORDS. HE ALWAYS PLAYED AGAINST THE FEELINGS OF 1.2B PEOPLE. OFCOURSE U R AN EXCEPTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!

winning a match is depended on how a team performs as a team...for ex in the lastest f one day match when he made 175 the others all together couldnt make 175 and we lost the match.......that was not coz f sachin fault....if he had made a duck in that match no one would have complained.......why people like u still run behind a person who himself has already proved himself as a legend in the cricket world

Mr Nair . Come on do not b a hypocrtie. Sachin has the highest no MOM and MOS awards in the world which is a clear indication of his match winning abilities. But tell me one player who will not cherish personal milestones also.

no person in world can satisfy everyone. there will be some who will always crib. WAKE UP NAIR. cricket is a team game, and in most cases BOWLERS win matches. it tomorrow our bowlers dont take wicket in mumbai, sehwag innings will be counted as played in a drawn match!. but tomorrows outcome will not change the value of that innings will it ?

When this fellow wud also have some appreciation for other greats I am horrified how he even cannot talk of the feats one after another flamboyant Viru is doing for his team and making India proud time and again.
