Both ways ....

Its both ways ...

Team let Ponting down ... is what Katich could say !!

and what Katich couldn't say was ...

"Ponting let the team down" (in Cardiff particularly) !!

So, its true both ways ....

However, Katich is in good books of Ponting by this statement.

what katich has done to save punter he made 341 runs in 10 innings. 17 runs avg in a test match. poor stuff that was. even swann and broad are far better than him. they took wkts and made crucial runs. katich is specially playing for batting and completely failed. in 2005 the result was same. flintoff and ptrson both took the responsibility to punish aussies. and now they have done it again without ptrson and without flintoff (he was injured and out of 4th match which eng lost).

now nobody can save aus. even bangladesh can tour aus and beat them in perth etc and can easily win the series.

now where are mcgrath, gillispie and other poor retired chaps who barked before every ashes that we can win easily.

341 runs in 10 innings --> 68 runs per test match. Not great, but not poor. Get your numbers right.

Thanx for your expert comments..... :)

We all saw how "easily" England won the series at THEIR home..... so no doubt Bangladesh can win "more easily" in Australia..... :)

there is no point in talking about those who were retired. Honestly Australia indicated them to retire to build new talent.
In the current team, there could be still difference had they got Symonds who rescued the team many times at No.6 position, and Brett Lee if in form.

had it been indians, they wud have kept harping on bad weather and poor umpiring
remember oz wud have won probably 5-0 if not for waether and umpiring probs
the two test matches drawn were weather affected and that poor weather was one of the big reasons for the draws
anyway oz are true world champs
i dont read posts i dont reply to

weather is the major factor included by ICC in the test matches then who r u to clarify that those matches were affected by rain. go and see the actual result. aus lost 2 matches and if those 2 matches have any result then it would be 3-1 eng win.

If it is India, we would have tried all ways to criticize the captain and asked to retire. It is not happening in Australia. Selectors are still with Ponting even though he lost 3 series against India, SA and England.
