He is indirectly pissed at Srikanth and co who show bias towards TN and South zone players,but Sehwag dont have the guts to say that so he is sarcastically saying Indian selectors are good but lesser selectors like Zonal selectors are corrupt...this is like Sachin once saying after Azhar was found guilty of match fixing that he was unhappy with Azhars carelessness under his captaincy and suspected something....have some guts u people...yea u guys r senior players but if u want to stand up for a good cause do so fully..
Also Sehwag created this stir to make sure he is in limelight and if he isnt picked because of his bad form,which might happen now that his shoulder got operated he can bully the other selectors as well indirectly....typical Politics

What rubbish.. I agree that Dravid has still got it.. And Dravid isnt Tamil u freak he's from Karnataka.. If Srikanth is showing favoritism its towards That M Vijay guy, who is so shit he shudnt be in the Tamil team let alone Indian team

if he picks new players, if they dont perform and we lose you'll say "ohh why not dravid, we need experience". when a person from maharashtra is the chief selector u crib about biased selection from bombay. dont post for the heck of it.
It is just crap.these palyers saying select on Merit .Can any one suggest a quantitative method by which one can be selected . If some body is making a judgement - there are going to be some differances of opinion . Saying that it does not happen at national level - favouritism is crap .I have been following this game for more than 40 years . So often I found certain player getting selected , becuase the captain form the same state or club .At times the rapport of the captain with the players .Both shewag and Yuvraj got so many opportunities when they were failing and a large number of them got hardly one or two opportunities .You can always claim the captin has confidance on the player - if starts clicking much later , every thing if fine .
No I am not defending the selectors or selection process . I have known excellent players who did not get selected .

You need to understand what is the difference between very good players and average players. Both Sehwag and Yuvraj are proven match winners. They deserve what they got. But Average players will never be like that. It was totally fair enough from BCCI by giving Sehwag and Yuvraj enough chances and which is now friutful.

Agarkar is the 3rd Highest wicket taker for India in ODIs and his strike rate is one of the best.
