The thing with spinners is to give them a long haul and let them gain confidence. Look at Jason - he did well in India , failed in a couple and was sacked. * wickets in his first game and nowhere now! Patience was never an Aussie traint!! Mcgrath was patient, Shane was strategic and they had patience with him as well. I remember Warnie being hit all over by Shashtri. They persisted and created the great Warnie. Aussies need to think and be patient with this art.
