Only top 2 teams from IPL quality for the champions league. Sachin, doni and jayasriya's team were Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings and hence they are not playing.
Regarding Gibbs playing for cape cobras, it is his home team. So he was given option to choose one team and he has choosen cape cobras and hence playing for it.
Why is it that Gibbs is playing for Cape Cobras instead of Deccan Chargers wherein he is raking moolah from IPL Deccan Chargers.... Very Unfair !!!!!!!!!!!!!1111
