80 matches :) (did he deserevd to play even 8) , got 151 Wkts with an average of 40.96. Even Sachin Tendulkar as a baller holds better record . Shastri was as hopeless as Venkatpathy Raju but little lucky one.

at least know the name clearly man... it is Bishan Singh Bedi
I have seen most of the teams do not give to much importance to left arm spinners other than Bangladesh. In Sri Lanka, Rangan Herath is less liked than Ajantha Mendis. In India, Piyush Chawla preferred over Murli Kartik earlier and now Amit Mishra outplayed Pragyan Ojha. In Pakistan, Abdur Rehman has been performing well since very long for domestic side and A team still Kaneria or Saeed Ajmal get edge. Ian Blackwell (England), Paul Adams (South Africa), Dave Mohammed (West Indies) are few more examples who get neglected inspite of good performances in domestic Cricket.
