Our Indian selection committee should learn from Australian cricket board. We will immediately jump to conclusions as soon as we loose any series. They forget that the captain was selected by them.In the given circumstances the best team was selected and we have to believe them as the best available. Instead of that, we change the captain, change the players and the coach. If you do not believe your own selection then who will?

my frnd u forgot bowlers in indian team...
we can generate best players: if govt. provides facility... if govt. creates more fields to play... if govt. starts giving out scholarships... if govt. removes lobbying...
we can do everything but only if govt. stops its evil...

Its a typical sick attitude of us Indians. Blaming others for our failure. We need to ask ourself as an individual what efforts have made, what have we contributed. Gov dont fall from sky. It comes from us only, if you feel that way, go in gov and show how is it done! Blaming from outside is the most easiest job!
I think, this may b end of ricky ponting as well as australian team... Initially they were lost to Indian team, after that lost to SA team, and now from england team..
Every team has to gone through these bad days... And now it's Australian Team's turn...
I am one of the greates lover and fan of Cricket. I started watching cricket from 1992. I saw top of many great cricket and I also their bottom. But Ricky Ponting is my favourite captain ever. I saw many great captain like Fleming, Ranatunuga, Wesels from South Africa when it came back, Smith and Cronze, Jaywardhane, Gaunguly from India, Azhar to from India and now Dhoni, Inzmam and Akram from Pakistan. Steev Waugh and Teylor from Austrilya, Walse and lara from West India even Andi Flower from Zimvabye. Ponting is the best for me.

Ponting looked best 'coz he had warne, Mcgrath, Gilly & hayden in his team... if he would have been best skipper he would hv made this team also a gr8 one as was the old one...

ICC best skipper award goes to The Great Ricky Ponting. Becoz, He never gives up. He plays for his team. He can do anything for winning. He leads from the front

now that they hv been repeated defeated and lost their supremacy, and now that they hv been gvn umpiring decisions that they do not like, aussies are very decent guys and will talk abut decency and gentlemanly...
The downtrend of Australian team started in the great Sydney Test, where the character of OZ team was put to acid test. After monkeygate the Aussies stopped so called sledging (at least openly). With this the other teams started playing better, and out played Aussies. May be the retirement of some great australian players also contributed to their down hill journey.

Certainly not.... its no joke to jump from his present tally of 2,077 runs and 3 centuries straight on to 42 centuries and 15,000 runs in a short span of 4 years..... :)

vishal, u didn't know about it - here's the phone conversation between Sachin & Amardeep
Sachin: "Hi Amar, how are u?" Amar: "Hi Sachin, i'm fine... but tell me one thing, why are you not retiring from cricket?" Sachin: "What to do yaar! I'm not retiring just to maintain my records.."

important thing to note: Sachin makes a call to Amar, and its not Amar who calls Sachin, OK. Sachin calls him just to tell him why he's not retiring :)
