Can India compete against Sri Lanka & New Zealand?
by Suraj Patil on Aug 25, 2009 03:10 PM  | Hide replies

Can India really prove their mettle against strong teams like Sri Lanka & New Zealand in the upcoming ODI series in Sri Lanka?
Is Dravid the solution for India's short-ball problem?

No Suraj, See.... He is also a human being... He is facing his bad period of cricket. I am sure he will come out of this and make his young blooded team more vulnerable to any team....( Not in terms of violence , only cricket ) :)

Ifs and buts are not part of cricket. on a given day the team performs better, emerges as winner.

Well said AB.....

But some people throw in umpires, sledging and other extraneous factors as being responsible for a team's win or defeat...... :)

Actually these are my comments

Un forgetable moments of this great series

---- Paul Collingwood's heroic performance at Cardiff test
--------- Monti and Jimmy played almost 12 overs for the lst wicket and saved the first test match and provided confidence to Eng
---------- Victory at Lords of eng after 75 years

---- Brodd spell in first innings of Aus in fina test match

------ Trott hit his maiden ton in final test match

--------- Strauss great captainship.

Andrew Strauss and Alastair Cook plundered 196 runs for the first wicket at Lord's to seize the advantage and Andrew Flintoff produced a magnificent spell of fast bowling on the final day to secure victory.

Australia dominated in 2 tests and England also dominated in two test.

England can proud of themselves because they have won it without Pieterson.

Why you guys are always on KP. Eng have won so many matches without KP. Man, there are 10 other players in the team, and its a team game! Just because KP was spotlight in the last Ashes win for Eng. don't praise him too much, even if he was there in this series, that would hv made any difference!
