Ricky Ponting vs MS Dhoni.............

The position of Ricky Ponting is same as MS DHoni, The only difference being Ricky Ponting is better batsman :-)

If u notice Ricky Ponting wwas best captain when he had players like:

1.Mathew Hayden.

2.Adam khor Gilchrist.

3.Andrew Symmonds.

4.Shane Warne.

5.Glenn Mcgrath.

Now all these players are retired except Andrew Symonds and the result is for everyone to see, Ricky Ponting is now a flop captain.

Similarly, MS Dhoni is successful captain thanx to match winners in Indian team like:

1.Sachin Tendulkar.

2.Gautam Gambhir.

3.Yuvraj Singh.

4.Viru Sehwag.

5.Harbhajan Singh.

So MS Dhoni keep yourself on ground coz if all these players retire then your nothing :-)

f-uckh-ead, MS Dhoni is not great captain. his success rate is below 60% where punter has win ratio over 75% in both test and one day.

very good analysis, big five of India are strength to DHONI, just the absence of Sachin and Sehwag, showed us the early exit from T20 world cup this year and if this five goes, where will Dhoni goes. SO DHONI respect the seniors and be on Earth

This is my 1st post in this forum..i m a big fan of sachin and believe dhoni is not a very good batsman technically..still I believe he has a strong determination..n if anyone has read Dhoni is number 1 batsman in ICC ODI ranking...i know we have gr8 player like schin n Yuvi..but we should give some credit to dhoni too..n who know after their retirement dhoni wont find a new brigade.. no one knows the future..but team present looks bright.. n we shud feel happy about it..

Yup! absolutely right!
Without these player he is nothing. Even he's nowhere near these batsman as a batsman too.
Hey Amit, you are right, Zaheer too is a key player these days.
