I salute you Mr Richardson to come out and say the truth loudly.
ICC has been lenient on Muralitharan. There are many more chuckers in the game.. But he is the worst.. He clearly throws the ball. And this is unfair to the batsmen of opposite side. ICC's policy on chucking sucks !! They test the person in lab ,, when actually they should test it in the game itself using all the technology that is available. Call it a no ball if it is thrown.
Just like they do with Wide and No Balls..... they dont test Wide ball in a lab...they just see it there itself.....

Of Course Murlitharan chucks the ball and has been a chucker right through his career. Now with the advent of new technic and cameras we the cricket lovers can see on TV that in the heat of the battle he starts chucking the ball. In the lab when he is tested he may be bowling within the limits allowed. Allowing Murli to play cricket has been very unfair to the batsmen and to the cricket lovers all over the world.
Richardson, I think you were unable to play quality spin, as always. Nobody knows your where abouts as of today. I still know you were amongst the hardest hitter at your time (because there were no one else). The time you played for WI was not at all Golden era of cricket, so you were not getting good money. Why the hell you people are making idiotic statements to get a two days publicity. News hungry people are worldwide, so are some portals, like rediff who love to write and show news which are against sub-continent. It has been onserved since last some years. And people in this part loves cricket and the players. So stop all this and pl. try to sell your batting (ony) skills or you can sell rum on any of the beach in WI. All the best AND PL. Although your point on Murli is well taken but even if you did not correctely pick on the mentioned Richardson let me tell you that the West Indian captain Richie Richardson was a great player and next to none in his playing days. I was fortunate enough to see some of his innings here in India and boy he could hit that Cricket ball hard. Also my friend you are right , those days were not about money in cricket so I am sure he is not a rich man. But let me tell you that he is now a bass guitarist with a raggae band in the West Indies. Imagine some of our boys ever doing that, even though they have half the talent of Richardson. And yes talking about Murli , my friend he does chuck sometimes.

Now, with amount of money involved with the sponsors, ad endorsing etc, it is the personality which is important, and not what they does.
Normally, the formative years, a classical off spinner is discouraged to bowl front on because that would result in chucking habits. In Murali's case he tries to extract wrist spin which poses the chances to chuck even further.
Just because New Zealand were putting up a strong fight against the Sri Lankans and suddenly lost wickets against Murali and lost the match Richardson's getting itchy. Muralitharan is such a good cricketer, doing his job, bowling day in day out, far from controversies, a very humble cricketer. It is very difficult with his action to bowl the doosra... can Richardson explain that? and how many LBWs he has got...tells u about his accuracy.
If he is proven ok in the laboratory tests then it tells that he 'can' bowl within 15 degree bend. Why assume that he is bending more than that on the cricket field. Umpires will do the job of calling Murali, if he bends too much, why is a New zealand commentator doing the job?

Murali, Brett lee, Shoaib are all chuckers. Just that Brett lee chucks only a few times in an innings but rest chuck most of the time
for just to accomodate chuckers like Muralidharan the rule was changed and 15 degrees flexiblity was allowed n now its been misused. ICC should ban all the bowlers with suspect action it gives them an unfair advantage
