Its the England middle-order this time who's going to win the final test match, especially considering their poor outing in the other matches in the series... wait & watch ;-) - ALL THE BEST ENGLAND.
The robust, ruthlesss Auz will surely take the skin from inflated englishmen who are inflated blokes just like Indians and were only able to ward off Aussies in earlier matches. the aggression in Aussies is only responsible for the refineness, smartness, valour, pungence added to this lousy game of cricket which has been marred by games Indians play or have been playing so far. Auz and Ponting have given a lot to cricket that must be respected. Indians have been only ritually performing the bookish game epitomized by Rahul dravid who only have made this game boring and sloggered. All those who criticise Auz and Ponting than over sachin and the likes must thank Auz and its champ Capt for shaping this game modern. We all remem any game with Aus with any opponent has been treat to watch. Howsoever negative an opponent had been these positive masculine champ Auz had forced them to play like men , like sportspersons not like moaning females like Indians have been playing this game so far. Although we have charismatic transition with Dhoni, Sehwag the simple men from humble back grounds which is infact the best pool to get our player from. As the urban men are hardly men. This si a medical fact. hail cricket, hail Auz, hail masculinity...

Beta kathaa sun li hamne. Scorecard dekha na tumne. Aapke bhagwan Ricky ponting ki kya haalat hui hai. Pata chal gaya hoga ab tak to.
I am one of the greates lover and fan of Cricket. I started watching cricket from 1992. I saw top of many great cricket and I also their bottom. But Ricky Ponting is my favourite captain ever. I saw many great captain like Fleming, Ranatunuga, Wesels from South Africa when it came back, Smith and Cronze, Jaywardhane, Gaunguly from India, Azhar to from India and now Dhoni, Inzmam and Akram from Pakistan. Steev Waugh and Teylor from Austrilya, Walse and lara from West India even Andi Flower from Zimvabye. Ponting is the best for me.

he is the best cheating captain of all time he is best in it

He was best till he had McGrath, Warney, Gilcrist and Hayden. His captaincy is now exposed to the hell and he has nowhere to go. The best Aus captain for me was Border who transformed the losing Australians into World Champions and then Mark Taylor. All those followed were lucky (even Steve Waugh) to get legacy.

His double standards, arrogance, cheating, pressuring umpires, sledging, and making shallow excuses when he loses-These are the highlights of Ricky's captaincy. These are his final days anyway.....The Aussies will sack him when he gets the dubious distinction of being the only Aussie captain to have lost 2 Ashes series in recent times. But I will always enjoy washing Aussie team laundry, and enjoying the scraps they throw me.
Cris Gayle (WI) Very dull in field – Negative Body language Yunis Khan (Pak) Put pressure on team mates M S Dhoni (Ind) Making so many experiments. G Smith (SA) Never think to do something new Struass (Eng) not able to getting honour from his players. Vettori (NZ) lacking in confidence in himself Ponting (Aus) A littlie bit over confidence Sangakara (SL) Early to comment as he is new in this field

JP:
;-).... yeah.... I just came off the ICC website and I could see only India's name from Number one to Number twenty three..... . ICC has declared no one is allowed to touch India for the next 60 years and hence this new ranking system..... :)

Freddie cant do anything to the macho men from Australia. That the Aussies lost shamelessly on their own soil inspite of cheating, when India walked all over them on their last visit, is all forgotten now.Now Ricky can resort to dirty tricks once again, and cry like the loser he si when they are thrashed at the Oval. But I did enjoy washing Aussie laundry.
Eng Strauss Cook Bell Traaut Collingwood Flintoff Prior Broad Swann Sidebottom/Onion Anderson Aus Wastson Katichh Rikcy Hussey M Clarke North Haddin Lee Johnson Hilfenhaus and S Clarke
Its better the England team try to atleast draw and avoid losing the trophy to the Aussies. Sharing the Ashes is much better for them and try to win it next time.

you're right.. just noticed in some website mentioning a draw series means aussies retain the trophy.

Not at all. Eng will win this Ashes Pride this time, though series is level 1-1, but freddy is back and Eng is looking very good. I wish eng may win.

AP
england have also shown they are gud after the 1st test debacle and won the 2nd test handsomely.aus are yet to show their dominnace over england in this series.

and by the way you too must have enjoyed the kind of criket england played in day 1 ,day 2 ,day 3 and day 4 of the 2nd test

Sivaji, I think you are very handsome. Are you free this evening?
A) Persisting with a pathetic Ravi Bopara...reason given?? That he scored 3 centuries against the West Indies...ohh the great West Indies attack?? LOL, not much better than the Bangla attack and that too dispirited.....
B) Stubbornly not selecting Ryan sidebottom....Sidebottom is the best england seamer on sheer test match track record!! in swinging conditions, he is at his potent best...in England the ball swings at all centres except at the Oval....if they select him now for the Oval test, he will go for more than 100 runs and might not evn take a wicket cos he is very ordinary in flat conditions and is streets ahead of Borad and Onions in swinging conditions....he sure has made enemies in the selection panel!!
C) Not selecting the shrewd and canny Michael Vaughan, forcing the poor guy to retire...what a dumb blunder!!
D) Ignoring the talented Owais Shah and Robert Key....
Just on the basis of the above points, england should lose heavily at the Oval....

Dear AP. Aus are champ they wont play for a draw as we all know they can keep Ashes trophy with this draw. But They will go for win.

TPT:
There is a difference between "must win" (implying if you lose you are gone), v/s "going for a win" (implying the champion mindset - try to win where a draw suffices)....
You erroneously put both England and Australia in the same bucket, hence I interrupted you..... :)
Re: Re: Re: Re: The key players from both sides

And as Rediff's resident expert on Aussie matters (as I wash their laundry and service them when they visit India)I have the right to talk about anything related to Australia.

Yes TPT, its ur mistake that u put both Eng and Aus in the same 'bucket'; Eng is a much much better team than Aus when it comes to fair play and sportsmanship. :-) right AP?

3 days??? Had it not been for the fact that Australia lost interest towards the latter part of England's 2nd innings, the match would have been over in 2 1/4 days.........
Something similar is all set to happen at the Oval and rightly so.......
Re: Re: Re: Eng will win this Ashes Pride

What now after two days ? Do you still stand by what you said ? Aus are going to lose big time.
