feels sad where this WI team has come down to. we still remember the WI from the 80s when they were invincibles. Each and every player was a jewel in Lloyd's crown. we all love to see WI on song.
when all WI players have ended their boycott, why not select the best team. they had ended the boycott before the one day series with Bangladesh. then also they were not selected. look at how WI lost against bangladesh both in test series and one day series.
still wi board and selectors are putting up a second team and letting the people of WI down. it's high time ICC takes action against WICB and bans them till they make available their best team.
Windies team usually have 2 to 3 Indian origin players since long time. For the Ist time in recent times, there are no Indian origin players in West Indies team.
...nobody is bigger than the country they represent. They need to understand that first and treat it as a privelege. If Gayle and co., don't want to play, they can go take a dive in the beach. There is no dearth of players to represent WI. Its better to have 11 underperforming but willing players who want to win and give their 200% for the country, than a bunch of losers who just want more money.

If you want to have professional players you need to have a professional board. How can you expect someone to play for the Board when they dont have a contract.
There was a question mark over Phidel Edwards after he carried the injury in 20-20 world cup. Who will bear the expenses etc.
Can you work for a employer without an health insurance. Dont blame the players, understand their need.

India has fixed the match with WestIndies board. It has used the situation to persuade WestIndies to send a depleted team in exchange for huge sum of money. Win win for both boards.
