ALL DHONI'S MEN
by damodaran mohan on Aug 15, 2009 07:16 PM  | Hide replies

Selectors should prepare Sehwag for that main event, CT by playing sparingly in the tri-series to give him just adequate match practice. The remaining ? Tested young players plus Sachin and no more. It will be better if at least Two players are kept out. First, bringing Rahul Dravid at this stage after a lapse of two years will be a regressive step because if he fails it will be back to square one. Moreover, Rohit Sharma,Raina,Badri etc. were actually victims of Dhoni’s no.3 mess. They deserve more chance. Even Virat kohli is in top form ! So, why Dravid ? It is better the WALL is preserved for TESTs. The second exclusion should be Ravindra Jadeja, Dhoni’s favourite who should also be kept out in the interest of the team. He is talented and learning but still raw and needs more home games. Dhoni preferring him over more experienced in the final eleven repeatedly is disturbing the team combination and team rhythm with the team losing eventually.

WELL SOME TIMES SENIORS SITTING BACK IS GOOD
by shobha on Aug 14, 2009 12:44 AM  | Hide replies

Its good for young cricketers when seniors sit back for any reasons. I wish Tendulkar/Dhoni also sit back and give chamce for youngsters. Other cunning players like Harbajan and YUVRAJ also give them rest for one year until they straighten thier attitude

Shobha , please migrate to porkistan. They are buying stupid1ty in pounds there. Could you use the m1nisule thing inside the football shaped structure sitting on your shoulders and let us know of the
" Youngsters" that are good enough to replace anyone ?
Sometimes I thank god that the selectors aren't as stup1d as tards like you.

Just Curious

Hate is not tied to an object or person. Hate is some thing that is inside of you.
A person who has hate will always find something to hate. Replace one object/person with another object/person.

That is true! I remember a country( not naming it) which had 70% population of one religion. They started hating other Minority religions and forced them to convert or punish them. In the end country almost became 95% of the Majority religion but since the hate remained inside them, they started fighting within the sects of the same religion. Now the country is facing civil war in which lakhs of people already died. It all because people learned to hate rather than love and respect.

Oh! Yeah! Sehwag is shaping well for Champions Trophy.. What abt u Mr Dhoni? Are u doing something to reinvent your hard hitting? U have forgotten boundaries and sixes and your timing has been horrible!

Do something abt it rather than sitting on the captain's chair and talking abt others. If not for the captaincy, u wuld've been out of this team long ago...! Hummers and Bikes... are good... do something to give some back to the game!

Pathetic news

These cricketers recovering is not a great news. There are many replacements as no one is indispensable.Rediff should worry of Terrorism and appeasement of muslims and Christians by the Italian lady.It should worry of price rise or the killer flue and not for any Sehwag or Dhobi
