England's plan is to play a fair game of cricket! They play with the spirit of the game, even if it means they're l0sing the match
game of spirit now, if eng mange to become mentally tough they will win ashes without big name, they done it before in this series. i hope they will repeat their performance.
is their player selected on the besis of county cricket which is seems to me very uncompetative, eng player normally perform good in county matches but when they selected in team they forget how to bat or bowl.

Then also bring back Boon, Lillee, Warne, Border and Bevan. They could make the poms writh around the Oval.
before ashes began thommo said this is the most crap aussie side and punter is useless as a capatain and now 1-1 he flip flops and says aussie will win Get lost Thommo there is no consistency in your views tu samay ke saath badalne walaa keda hai achaa time aussie are great bura time aussie are crap and such flip flop chaps then bore us 2 death on TV sets with analysis and guru gyaan

It is funny how the aussies have to even try the verbal diarrhea of an oldie to try and defeat a weak english team. WOW. I guess this is how the high and mighty fall.

M.Vaughan was best choice. But England selectors sacked Piterson from captaincy when he backed M.Vaughan.

true. vaughan n trescothik r the best options who both hv been forcefully retired. if they come out to the field, then ausis can eat the dust.

Botham at 50 is better than Flintoff who is at best an average player. He has no magic wand to even put them under pressure. English bowling doesnt have the bite to hurt australia on a pitch like oval. Aussies will take the ashes back home
Strauss : Great Cook : Average Bopara : mediocre Bell : Mediocre Collingwood : Average Prior : Average Flintoff : Great Broad : Mediocre Swann : Average Anderson : Average Onions : Average
No look at Australia : Katich : Average Watson : Average Ponting : Great Clarke : Great Hussey : Great North : Great Haddin : Average Johnson : Great Clark : Great Siddle : Average Hilfenhaus: Average
Number of mediocres in England team : 3 Number of mediocres in Aussie team : 0

Obviously Aussies look better on paper. But the results so far doesn't reflect the same. It is not about reputation, it is more about commitment and drive. There is no clear favourites going into the decider.

AP: No, they bribed only the umpires, who gave "out" to those 3 batsmen :-)
