Reason for this clause
by Sing P on Aug 10, 2009 10:45 PM  | Hide replies

Okay..Anyone have an idea why WADA is having this clause? If they call the athlete on the day of testing and ask for there where abouts wouldn't work for them? Does it mean that if an athlete knows he will be under taking this test in an hour, he can dilute his body substance??

Can any one throw some light on this???

Why is there so much fuss about the cricketers having concerns. This is their life and they don't have to live their life according to any time table. As Mr rathore has said, if u have been asked to give ur details to police for everyday just to keep track of criminal activities in the country for each hour or day, would you give and what would happen just in case you feel like not going somewhere where u have planned earlier. You don't have to live ur life according to any schedule and neither do they have to live. I don't think they should be condemned for that. There are other reasons for condemning them but this odd one is a genuine case on their behalf.

Current Indian cricketers are the most egotistical, fluff-based and spoilt sports people in the world.

they are all hype, low on substance and are spoiling the classic game of cricket. They do not know how to play proper cricket, are gulli-danda players and are only interested in money and having cheap fun. Complete basket cases!!!

Complete junk this DHOBI and company!!!!

Remember when Bhajji slapped Sreesant for no reason in the IPL? Well this is the classic case of spoilt brat. Bhajji is so pampered that even his mom refuses to say that he was wrong in slapping Sreesant. Arre sardar, dont open your mouth. You will always create controversy.

hmm what if they are not at their family side. Would you like to forcibly remember and spend an hr in a particular place for rest of your sporting life ?
I mean honestly, if you decide to take a dinner and drinks with someone , you would have trouble doing that since the WADA ppl can land up there.
Don't be a tard. Its not like athletics where individual ppl spend months alone training.
This is a team sport, you will find everyone together most of the time.
That's why Football bodies have rejected WADA clause.

Well, I agree with everyone. Cricketers in India are spoil brats. It is not everyone thinks, but it is a fact. Too much pampering and you cricketers wag your tail too much. It happened in Australia, it happened in Pakistan, it happened in England. Now in England no one cares for crickets (as more are into soccer), Aussies are coming to terms now (just because selectors are much tough than our BCCI guys) and West Indies (well where are they after thrashed by Bangladesh?). "Spoil brats', is much a lighter word.

refusing to sign WADA doesn't quantify them as brats. I know you have been born with a mental disability. Please let me know where I can find you 1 hr of the day for the next 3 months and I will cure you some day.
Think about it for a min, In a currupt nation like this, which is facing tremendous terrorist related activities from porkistan and bongistan , its very risky for them to declare their whereabouts for an hr each day.
Furthermore, they can also be targetted by the shameless and inhumane things called Journalists and Press, which would make their already invaded private lives more compromised.
What I wrote above , should be comprehended by someone with an IQ of less than 50. If you are unable to understand even this, then you could do the world a favor by jumping off the tallest building you can find

Well said,vsr,
cricket is dying in all other countries other than India according to a statement by Lara recently. But Indians don't have the stamina to play any vigorous, taxing game properly and dedicatedly.Hence we are stuck with the lazy game called cricket.
