Re: come on oz

Oz ruled world cricket because of one person and one person only. Shane Warne. It was of sheer luck that in the same era McGrath, Gilly played to make it a great team. One must remember that Oz always struggled to win in India. When our worst team with worst form were present they won and that too only 2-1 and not 4-0. If they were so good they would have won every match since 2007 world cup but nope, they did not. It was a shame to their title that they could not get one english batsmen out of Monty's nature in 10 overs. They donot have good bowlers and neither do they have good batsmen. Yes, they have great umpires who always cheated and hence Oz won. This is the fact since 1991. The fact that Oz is winning is a joke now but a dbl fact is it is English. Oz were never good. At least not as good as SA.

Ashes is better than T20
by manoj singh on Aug 07, 2009 03:51 PM

Freddi is absolutely right in judging Ashes above T20 form of cricket.if T20 is Trailor/promo than Test cricket is complete film with Act, action, Drama, Emotion, tregedy and above all Climax.

Flintoff is a piss of a cricketer
by Indian Guru on Aug 07, 2009 03:46 PM  | Hide replies

Flintoff is a piss of a cricketer. Flintoffs comments spark of a genuine concern in the english camp. 1. Players are not getting proper opportunities for IPL and also indicates that they have resigned for life as far as world cup and other major tournaments are concerned.

It is already 34 years and England is unable to win a single major tournament featuring all the countries.
They do not intend to do so in the coming 100 years.

So the best way is to sideline all the tournaments and highlight Ashes.
