I have a solution to cricketers problem. They should give their address as top of Mount Everest or place like that. If WADA team discloses it they would be violating secrecy clause. If not they have to climb Everest thrice to take action against the player
I have very little idea about any drugs that are marketed which can increase the repertoire of shots a batsman possess or induce more variety to a bowler’s armory. Well u can argue it can increase the speed with which a bowler bowls. But for that I feel a routine drug test before or after the events is enough. I again say to you that WADA code is simply draconian.
Yuvi and other Indian cricketers are not against dope tests. Infact, they are routinely tested when on tour. I hope u remember Shahid Afridi was tested just after the T20 final. So testing isn’t new to cricket. The issue is different. I am very romantic about cricket and a die hard test match fan. .I often enjoy test matches with a peg or two of whisky and puffs of marijuana. I mean to say to you that these guys are mortal and how they spend their leisure time at home or anywhere shouldn't raise anybodies eyebrows. So what if a cricketer lazes around with puffs of marijuana when not on tour. The WADA is nobody to judge how a cricketer should spend his personal time. I think BCCI is absolutely right by supporting the cricketers. Moreover, cricket unlike other personal events is played for a longer duration. The shortest version of the game takes twice the time taken to play a football match. In athletic events like swimming, running where the game spans a mere few seconds it is more probable the outcome of a game can be ruled by consuming performance enhancing drugs. Another important perspective which you should consider is running or swimming or even cycling involves similar body movements throughout the entire span of events But in cricket sometimes u run at others u jump to hold a catch. Even when a batsman bats he puts forward a repertoire of shots that involves different body movements. I have very little idea about any drugs that are marketed which can increase the
I am completely in agreement with the players who are apposing the WADA rules. None of the authority is authorised to lookinto the personal life of any person. WADA is not a supreme to scrap the civil rights of any person.

WADA is a nonsense organisation screwing all the athletes and sportsmen around the world. They should more focus on drug tests rather than intruding the privacy of individuals. Many athletes and other sportsmen notably tennis players had expressed their anger against WADA in the past. But, they can't do much on their own. This is dictatorship and the whole idea should be condemned. WADA authorities are free to take drug tests any time before or after the match. But why do they need to know "whereabouts" of athletes?
The big question is that if they are so concerned about their privacy why to play cricket or any sport for that matter.. When they give interview on TV, participate in reality shows..or romancing some bolloywood actor...then they do'nt have any privacy issue..why?? It is nothing but money power which tallking all..just issue that everyone has to sign WADA otherwise he will not be a part indian team..then you see..all will sign without opening their mouth... But you all know at the end of day these all will sign WADA or any other anti-drugs paper.. Now just they are making news beacuse they do'nt have anything now to talk about..

Dear Abhay, It is purely injustise towards the players/representatives of a country.Your comments are purely discriminating the sports community. Please keep yourself in that position and talk about this. Who are we to lookinto their personal lifes? As they are representing our country and they are cream in that field. I didn't understand why WADA is putting this useless conditions. If they want to test the any player they should call them and ask them to attend the test in next "xxx" hours so that they have to attend to the tests nearby centre at their own costs.
all other forms sports persons (big and small) signed the anti-doping agreement? indian cricket gods are still showing their arrogant versions? as if other sports persons don't have privasy?

I agree with you. WADA rules are against human freedom. But they are more difficult to follow for western people than Asians. Many tennis players and athletes had also raised similar concerns in the past and in some cases suffered. But ICC and BCC are equally to blame for this situation. The problem is ICC and BCCI officials are stupid people. This is not the first time they realise the issue at the last moment. Why BCCI didn't discuss and raise this issue before signing with WADA authorities?

I agree with u that BCCI never discussed this issue when it was brought up. Bu BCCI consists of politicians and officials who are more bothered about thier personal benefits that about the game and our cricketers benefit. It is only when they gound that our cricketers would not agree and might go to court if there were compelled that they backed them!
