No security issue- Its all private.
by vathula on Aug 04, 2009 08:47 AM

The details are private and confidential. Only for the randomly selected players, the tests will be adminstered. Also, you have to give just one hour a day abt the whereabouts. Every player will be sleeping in some place unless they are partying the whole nght...right? Also, if your schedule changes, just keep them informed of the change.

BCCI is supooring because they want star player to play in ipl, & their fitness should not affect any season in IPL , they a re earning money from this IPL like anything < so BCCI will put money above everything, so many player including intenational players might be taking drugs to keep them going in this tight schedule along with IPL , so BCCI is supporting them,

U guys need to understand that nobody objected to the testing clause but about the whereabouts clause where they have to give 3 months in advance. How can any player say where he will be at any point of time? Isn't that foolish? Also one needs to understand that these players, do all sorts of ads and they would not be able to say when the shoots wd take place. If suppose the WADA wants them to test them in the mdist of a shoot, what wd they do? So, instead of criticing them all the time, let us give them the benefit of the doubt.

KICK THEM
by madanmohan siddhanthi on Aug 03, 2009 07:40 AM  | Hide replies

ICC should kick the BCCI out of its gamit .Although the code is some what stupid. There are ways to get things done ion a proper way .when so many countries accept and such organisations like Olympics agrred . There is no doubt the clause needs to be reviewed .
If ICC debars BCCI , the game of cricket will benifit as a true game and not a money making racket.

Yes, without India there is no other country. Indians are the only ones who can attack this clause. It shouldnt be so meaningless. Players cant be treated as criminals

Boss in which world are u living? If other nations say no, they can as well say goodbye to all the money which they would otherwise get. Also most of the cricket playing nations would go bankrupt, my dear friend!

doping is serious...
by RAJ sharma on Aug 03, 2009 02:33 AM

BCCI is the authority which swallows up the ex-cricketers pensions and does not give equal respect to its past & present cricketers, now has the audacity to stand behind cricketers who want to escape mandatory testing by coming up with a silly excuse that it encroaches on the privacy. It's a shame that the national governing body is covering up for it's players who might be using illicit/banned substances while representing the tricolor. When paki-cricketer asif was tested after IPL,and tested positive, everyone was out to get him,let the same standards apply,no matter what time of the year it is.Athletes representing the country should always look at it as an honour, and so should the board and media, however they seem to grow bigger than who they are representing and the initial "I feel it is a great honour to represent my country" is gone out the window.BCCI has just one motive MONEY,MONEY,MONEY,MONEY& MORE MONEY...
