i think koohli and panday will get their time under the sun once sachin, dravid, laxman retire. sachin should play the cricket team tax for occupying odi and test seat for 20 years
after this win india have one more team kohli,tyagi,saha,sharma,nayar,saghwan,kaif,ojha,balaji,badrinath,and tendulkar rested in wi series ,dravid is there so now we can become no 1 team in world under dhoni capit

how many players from tamil nadu there in the team. It was once dominated by Mumbai players when they were the selection committee members. It was dominated by Karnataka players when they are the selection committee members. We have only Dinesh Karthik who has deserved his place after many proves. Even Balaji has neglected after his excellent performance in the IPL Hat-Tric. Only Tamilians are nutral and justify and select only players with calibre.
now it's very evidant that players like kohli and thyagi are talented players who can win matches for india. it is high time to include them in the team and give enough chances to prove their worth. plyers like rohith & jadeja got enough and more oppertunities and failed to emerge as a match winner.now the others are badly looking for a chance. manish pande also, i feel, a highly talented player. we should take the players who can occupy the crease and go for big shots like yuvraj. modern cricket is for such people. only then we can hope for lifting the big titles like world cup.
R P Singh is king as he is Dhoni's friend and keep on being in the team without any noticeable performance for last 2-3 years. He supports DHONI for bringing his Hummer and also give him compnay for shopping etc. (BOYFRIEND IMAGE); and with SHRIKANT busy buying favor for his TAMILNADU floppers like BADRINATH, VIJAY and DINESH, we keep on seeing a WIN-WIN between DHONI and SRIKANTH.
But now with SUDIP TYAGI knocking the door, it would be difficult for both DHONI and SHRIKANT to fool INDIAN public. It will be great to see, if they continue befool Indian cricket lovers by selecting their favorties or PLAYERS like SUDIP TYAGI, VIRAT KOHLI and SAHA (as a second choice after DHONI).
NEEDLESS TO SAY, INDIAN CRICKET LOVERS CAN BE BEFOOLED BY BCCI, SELECTORS AND PLAYERS ON ANY GIVEN DAY. HELPLESSNESS IS THE ONLY WORD TO ECHO SENTIMENTS.

As far as Indian team is concerned, it is one of the best with likes of sachin, sehwag,dravid, laxman, yuvraj, bhajji, Zaheer etc. but as far as Dhoni captaincy is concerned, it is by fluke only but Indian media gives unnecessary credit of captaincy. He is simply a lucky guy leading bunch of talented players & who are in form now.Otherwise even ponting not able to win matches the moment great players from AUS disappeared. Any captain is as good as his team & 99% of cricket win comes from collective effort of few match winners like sachin, sehwag, kumblee, laxman, yuvi, dravid , zaheer etc & not due to captaincy

If saha needs a place. He should replace Dhoni atleast in Test & T-20. dhoni is the most useles player continuing in team without any noticable performance.
Murali vijay & Rohit sharma should be groomed carefully for tests only.Ravindra jadeja to be given more chance in one dayers ahead of Ojha. Munaf,Balaji to be kept as bench only. Irfan to be trained roperly for bowling.

Vijay doesnt need any more chance. He is a club player with no talent at all. His qualification is that he is from Srikanth's state
When Murali vijay was selected ahead of virat kohli for the west indies tour few eyebrows raised from all quarters of the country
today it is very much evident virat kohli is a genuine match winner
he scored 3 half centuries out of the 4 matches india emerging won in league stage
and in the final he wrote his own script by scoring a century against an unbeaten south africa
in contrast murali vijay is a big flop 3 ducks and one inninngs of 30...even the team management doesnt have the confidence to field him in all matches he was shown the dressing room for a few matches
Real plus are 1.virat kohli 2.sudip tyagi 3.pradeep sangwan 4.rahane
i would rate this series far better than a first class series. simply because australia , southafrica and nzl fielded their strong bench team

That was a funny read. Murali vijay and virat kohli are both talented players. Vijay is a technically better batsman than kohli and kohli might have better nerves. Rather than choosing and deciding on one or the other with very little cricket behind them, why dont we let them demonstrate it by giving them enough time. Remember, sachin wasnt made in 1/2 matches.It took a lot of matches to get him going.

ARe you from Tamil Nadu. Vijay has come into theteam with no proof of his abilities. He is useless recommended candidate in the team. Just look at all Kohli's records and why was he the caption of the junior world cup winning team

I deffinietly believe Kohli is better player for the One Dayers and T20. But, still M Vijay is not a bad choice for tests. You Bloody north people always want south guys below your foot, if they will raise aboyve your head you will deffinietly feel bad. When there were so many palyers playing from Delhi and Mumbai You will not have any problems. Dont go state wise look at the talent. M Vijay, Robin Uthhappa, A Rahane al these players deserve a chance as they have proven at the domestic level

I think he will be better than Rohit Sharma and Suresh Raina in a couple of years time...but the selection panel has treated him a bit shabbily inspite of his impressive showing in Lanka......

Dhoni needs only chamcha like RP singh, raina , joginder sharma , ishant sharma etc type player who can listen to him.For him talent is the last thing as his position himself is by manipulation & not by talent.
