IPL is not like the supersixers or beach cricket. IPL has become a very professional mode of cricket (atleast in view with cricket only) and has grown immensely, like it or not No international player can now view this tournament as a paid holidays, nowadays The SA public reception says it all.
Every international players wants to be part of IPL and if they don't perform or show less commitment, they have 7-8 other international players in the squad waiting to take that place So, its tough competition out there.
IPL like 20-20 tournaments are going to kill cricket.where is the class of Test cricket? batsmen are just waving their bats all around somehow only to get runs (and money). infact such is the power of money, that even sachin is defending the IPL.

Sachin never runs after money. people watches IPL b'coz of the thrill,competition among the best & performance of their pesonal favourites against another favourites. There is no issue of money related to it. As for TEST CRICKET,no country is ignoring it.How cam you say IPL is threat to it. Don't forget India is playing its best test cricket in recent times after the formation of IPL.Afterall look at Ojha & Y.Pathan who were noticed in IPL only.

let good sense prevail over the owners of the team that best paid do not perform better - Ex KP of Bangalore and AF of Chennai who are paid $1.55 mn. In spite of all these, if they are paid, then it will be a demoralising factor for performing players

Nair & Kohli has the potential. Nair showed it against CSK(3 sixes against Freddie)and kohli had almost made RCB win by his brisk half century. Don't expect high scores from them as they come late in the line-up. so far they have entered in a difficult situation.
