SRK was so deaf that he did not listen to Gavaskar advise, who knows about cricker far more than Buchanan knows about it.I appreciate the fact that SRK had come from humble background and made it big in entertainment world but of late he has been very arrogant that he has not spared legends like Amitabh Bachhan and Sunil Gavaskar. On the other if we see sachin , he has maintained his cool in his entire lifetime, never criticized any one or got into controversy and getting blessing from the people.
Latest scoop says that the real reason for SRK to invest Dawood's money in KKR is Gita Dey. Can anyone say why SRK was staying away from the team hotel last night and in the same hotel as Gita Dey, in fact, just in the room next to her's?!!
Last year Ganguly was captain and Mumbai destroyed them at Wankhede bundling them out for 67 runs and Jayasuriya smashed 48 in 17 balls. This year captaincy changed but result is same, Mumbai hammering Kolkata for 187 and then bundling them out for 95 runs. Neither Ganguly as a captain could save them last time or as a player this time.
SRK is caught in stupid pressures that Ganguly created for him by crying and lying to media he was not aware of multiple captaincy and neither was consulted when the coach clarified Ganguly was kept in loop. That done SRK supported the theory and Ganguly realised his lies and politics wont work and kept quite about the captaincy theory. Meanwhile we saw bengalis protest on streets as expected and always and in newspaper and everywhere possible, putting pressure on SRK, Coach and the team, and SRK even has reported to received abusing emails and smses.
On the other hand VVS and Dravid both were removed from captaincy and they accepted gracefully. This shows that Ganguly is power and media hungry and can go to any extent to get them, and the entire episode has affected the KKR team.
